This actually fits in pretty well with the topic of APM.

Day9 just did a daily where he was coaching another guy.

Just had the most epic game of my SC career.

http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/1...elnaga-caverns

Beware it is pretty long so I don't recommend watching it on 1x speed.

You made a big mistake when you were too busy looking at your base when your units were assaulting his expo and he moved all his stalkers in and you weren't focusing on the battle and didn't siege your tanks until he blinked them.

The game should have ended there if you didn't move your vision back to your base for so long.

Yea there were a couple times when I should've been able to end the game looking back. Made quite a few mistakes that game unfortunately. Never shoudl've attacked his expo when he had all those high templars either. Foolish.

Yeah, that was hilarious.

SEE 9 TEMPLARS?

ATTACK WITH MARINE MARAUDER!

(zap! zap! zap! fountains of blood)

Maybe siege from the low ground and send a few units (or medivacs if you still had them) up to scout vision for tanks. Then if he blows his storms on your tanks, that's when you stim rush up the ramp with your MM.

I didn't play for a few months but logged on the other day and played a few games. Just as fun as it ever was.

Yeah I still play about 10-15 rounds a week. Season 3 has been very good to me. I think out of the 15 games I've played so far, I've only lost like 3 times. Mind you I'm in silver :\

On a side note, I was in South Korea in June, and had the chance to watch the SC2 GSL tournament and the SC1 Star League tournaments live. Fun stuff! Made it on TV both times!

I played it for the first 4 or 5 days after it came out, and haven't touched it since.

Still hoping they make a really awesome SC2 DotA.

I just got back into it with the new season.

I found a way to beat protoss! (i'm zerg)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1539729/SC%2...6%29.SC2Replay

It's a bit cheesy, but it's really hard for a zerg to punish a forge expand imo..

Have you guys seen these guys shows? They are called "When Cheese Fails". They have just started their fourth season (10 shows per season) and it's hilarious. It's pretty much exactly what the title implies, with some impressive cheesy fails. The commentary is pretty good and amusing, and I've been learning some moves and tricks watching these, too.

It's a damn shame the tournament just kinda died. Partially my fault, but by the end getting a hold of people was ridiculously hard. People stopped replying to game times. I am pretty sure by the final four, two of the matches were decided by someone not responding (my matching being one of them) and no one asked if it was still going on. Everyone just accepted it hadn't worked out. It lost a lot of steam after accusations of cheating, imo. While I don't think there was any foul play (I watched the replay, there was bad luck for the guy as far as timing went but nothing to indicate that cheating had occured), I should have made sure no one had family members observing the games.

If I did it again, I'd probably not play at all myself and just observe games to ensure nothing like that happened.

It's okay, we all know that I was going to win anyways.
