Boogies is a good alternative but their yam fries are terrible and their burgers are very messy.

It shouldn't be too tough for them to be beter than Peter's or Boogies. Both of those places have gone downhill in the last 5 years or so.

I was down in Deerfoot Meadows last night and did a drive by of the store. That's exactly where it is. It's in the same building as the Sony Store and EB Games and the Petland store is right beside it. It's in the northeast corner of the Deerfoot Meadows complex and not really close to the other restaurants in the mall. Fatburger is probably the closest other food location.

It looks like there's still a lot of work to be done inside. I'm a horrible judge of how long things like that take, but I'd be very surprised if it isn't at least a couple of weeks before it's ready to go.

They're also really close to Deerfoot, so I'm sure they'll get some nice fresh venison and hasenpfeffer every once in a while too.

Went to Five Guys here in NYC for the frst time yesterday, and while it's good it wasn't anything all that special. It's a fast food burger, and while better than what you get at other fast food places it's still a fast food burger. I'm not sure what the prices will be in Calgary, but for another $5 here I could have picked up a big juicy burger with irish bacon and sauteed onions at the pub around the corner (with a free drink on sundays!!). I do highly recommend that you get the jalapenos if you like a little spice, they're fresh not pickled and add a nice bite to the burger.

I was in earlier this week and they said most likely next Wednesday.

to get your grub on, ate at the one in Med hat and in Kalispell MT. $13.79 for cheese burger, fries lrg coke. They give you way too many fries; they fill the container and then dump a pile into your bag so share an order with your date and that's just the regular size. All the burgers are doubles, unless you get the baby? its a single. The burgers are the best fast food around I think it in the cheese.

Similar Prices to Fat Burger (i.e. Expensive )
Great Burger.

I think Lethbridge Is opening early next week? Then Airdrie in a month or so.

ps I was at Holy Smoke Yesterday again but tried the Hot Link. Has anyone ever had one of these? Best Smokie in town!
