Bert Kreischer is a pretty funny one too. A littler lesser known, but pretty good.
Bob Saget is good too. I heard that his shows are never the same either and that he improvises as he goes. I know someone that saw him in consecutive shows in 2 different cities, and he said they quite different from each other. Some of the jokes were the same, but the tangents were always different.

I've recently listened to Aziz Ansari's album and loved it
Mitch Hedburg, Lewis Black, Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, Ron White, George Carlin are all favourites of mine
James P. Connolly is a name that most people don't know but he's very witty, and has an impeccable sense of timing. He's a common guest on the Bob & Tom Show, if you get a chance check out some of his stuff.
As far as good ole home grown Canadian talent:
Derek Edwards, is so dry I love it
I recently saw a show with David Frost as the headliner. It was a small show where three drunk guys heckled all night until Frost came on. He's so vulgar and seriously screwed up that the hecklers really didn't know what to say. He's hilarious if you like that kind of sick humour
Glen "That Canadian Guy" Foster who has a new video up on youtube where he steals a girls cell phone while she's texting in the crowd is pretty awesome. I've met him and he's an awesome guy I wish I could see him here in Fredericton Friday night, I can't but I very well might drive to Saint John to see him on Saturday. As long as I get the first draft of a paper done by then I'll head down, that said I should get back to that, I'll post videos later.

I think Daniel Tosh is the funniest currently active comedian. The guy is way too smart.

What, no love for Carrot Top?
There's nothing worse than waking up after a Vegas bender, walking somewhere to get breakfast and seeing a giant Carrot Top billboard when you're already feeling a little ill. How does that guy get hired?
Oh, and Carlin was the man.

I'm not huge on comedians, but some great ones are:
Pryor
Carlin
Rock
I've never actually seen a comedian live. My first one will be in December, Bob Sagat is in town. And I missed Craig Ferguson coming to town this year, I really want to see him live.
