Neil Young, changing the world yet again
http://www.kansas.com/news/story/421101.html
This should attract broad interest in this forum. Not music related, has to do with innovation in the auto industry.

I wish the regular letter carrier on that route would call in sick a time or two. I might get lucky enough to carry that part of his route and 'bump into' Neil Young. The last time I was at that building was before that guy was in there.
Strangely, the owner of the building was murdered about a month ago in a bizzare series of events.

Wouldn't be surprised if the building was left to Jonathan in a will, or at least he be given the option to buy it at a reduced cost.

Young's electric Lincoln was destroyed in a fire last week. They're going to rebuild it.

Since the link from the OP has been taken down, I'm going to go ahead and start the 'oil company bought him out' conspiracy.

That's too bad!
Basically, Young had a '59 Lincoln convertable that he had converted into an all electric car. A guy here in Wichita has been doing this for a few years now and worked very closely with Neil getting his done. I saw it at a body shop I delivered mail to one day in 2008...back in my mail carrying period.
If you are interested google it and I'm sure there are some other stories on the net about it. Pretty neat stuff really.
