If everyone in the city ran WR G2's, driving in the winter would be a lot safer.

I was out on Glenmore east of the city and it is a nightmare, all ice, don't even see sand. Terrible, I actually didn't mind the roads within the city this time, usually its the other way around.

Left house at 7:00am, got to work at 7:45, so only about an extra 15 minutes to my commute. But it was a slow go for chunks of it.

Attn bus driver: flooring it every time you leave a stop is not a good idea.

Normally leave for work at 7:30 and arrive around 8:00.
Today I left for work around 7:15 and arrived around 8:00. Had to dodge THREE buses blocking the road in Signal Hill. I'm the only person in my office right now.

More like "Attn: everyone." I'm not sure why some people's reaction to spinning their wheels is to spin them more.

I left home at 7:10 and got into work at 7:30. Usually I would be in by 7:25 but I almost slipped a few times as I was walking to work. Love living downtown!

Left at the same time as normal, but arrived half an hour late because all the suburbanites took all the spots on the bus! We need staggered transit pricing in this city, I tell yaz...

This is a goddamn joke. They haven't so much as plowed or dropped a piece of salt on Crowchild. All it would take is ine sweep and it would be clean. They knew this was coming. Why the hell weren't trucks out spreading salt/gravel on the roads last night. I guess that's what happens when your urban planners/engineers are the rejects from every other Province.

A little amount of snow like this should not cripple a Canadian city.

Commute is horrible... I'm about 15 minutes from work and it took me an extra half hour today. On top of that I had a 3 foot snow drift in my driveway I had to get rid of before leaving... People really need to slow down too. I saw some ppl going 50kph+ down steep hills.

Took me an extra 5 minutes, but I only live 10 minutes from work. Just want to let some folks know, its not the best idea to tap your brakes every 20 feet when going downhill. Your car isnt going to take off like a runaway freight train if you lift your foot off the gas and coast.
