The roads are terrible! Thank god for 4X4, but still people should give themselves a lot of time to brake because these roads feel like an ice rink right now.

Still clear here in Lethbridge, but it looks like that blob of doom is heading right for us.

It's only going to get worse as the temperature keeps falling... Right now, we're at freezing point and some of the snow is melting.

Doesn't look like Sunshine is getting any of this snow right now looking at their webcam. They're already about a week behind their expected opening date so hopefully they'll get a good dump.

Quite a bit has fallen here in Copperfield since I last looked outside (when there wasn't anything on the ground or any falling, for that matter).

I'm debating whether I should take deerfoot to work (Airdrie) or 84th to Stoney...

I assume Deerfoot will be chaos tomorrow.

Just remembered to go shut off the tap and roll up the hose just now. I turned it on a couple of weeks ago to spray off the highchair we want to sell on Kijiji. Speaking of which, anyone want a highchair, or a Baby Bjorn? Both are in good condition. Also have cloth diapers, lol.

Lots of snow here in Red Deer and it is still coming down. Going to be a terrible drive to work in the morning. I drive from Red Deer out to Innisfail. The good news is school buses might not be running in the morning!

We just lost power for about 20 minutes. I think the snow had something to do with it.

This is fantastic. I say that now because I'm about to go out for a pleasant drive.

I'm sure it won't be fantastic during the commute in the morn however. I already hear the odd siren going by, can't imagine what it will be like with more hours of accumulation.

Soooo glad I don't have to take Deerfoot anymore. Although I wonder how much attention Stoney will get from the City?

There are going to be a lot of accidents tomorrow because lots of drivers won't have winter tires. I bet there will be lots of rear-ends... from not keeping enough braking distance.
