Nope.
Only the extremes.
1 % are the people who drive way too slow because they are too nervous.
1% are the people who drive too fast because they are too arrogant to slow down.
33.3% of the people who have to blame other people for the traffic.

Considering how much advance warning there is on this storm, I wonder to what extent the city will bungle the snow plowing because they "were caught off guard"...

Famous last words. In Calgary I have a feeling it won't be that bad. My Calgary weather senses kicking in. With the understanding that I could be 100% wrong. haha

My favorite winter tire ... speed rated so it doesnt heat up when there is no snow and still safe at high speeds on dry days.

Should I try to bike to work tomorrow? Depends on how much snow on the road I guess. I might make it to work quicker.

with all this build up, i wouldn't be suprised to just have a light "dusting" tomorrow morning.
now that i said that, i'll for sure be wrong. question is, will it be enough snow to make the c-trains crap out and delayed?

I was going to say the same. This is media sensationalism 101.
I hope I'm wrong though.

Although I don't think that the apocalypse is imminent, it's coming down pretty good in the NW right now. Settling on the grass already, but the patio, sidewalks, roads, etc. are still wet. If it continues like this there will be a few inches on the ground come morning, I'd bet.

It's hard to know accurately with these winter storms. Will the worst of the wind be timed exactly with the worst part of the snow? Will the rain preceding make an icy base underneath the snow on the roads? What will the exact makeup of the snow be.
Brace for the worst, knowing that it's not always going to be the worst. The winter storms with wind are usually much different for people outside the city as well. Visibility could easily be 0 tomorrow outside the city, but driving could be (relatively) fine for people in the city.
That freezing rain to start off last winter was crazy, haven't seen roads that slippery in this city for a while. It took me an hour to drive home what normally is a 12 minute drive. I had driven around about an hour earlier, and had no problems at all getting anywhere.

Hell yes. And yes you will likely make it into work before others do.
It's a curse really.

Well the roads in my part of the NW are now snow covered - I'm a little surprised at how quickly it is accumulating. Take that for what it's worth when planning your morning.

Considering it's mid-Movember, this doesn't bother me or my moustache very much.
However, I also don't have to be anywhere that early tomorrow... so there you go.
I'm in Glenbrook and it's definitely sticking.

This doesn't look overly sensationalist:
