I know there are a few Griz fans here, thoughts on this?

The University of Montana Grizzlies will stay in the Big Sky Conference and not move up to the Football Bowl Subdivision, school president Royce Engstrom said Thursday.

Smart move, better to be the big fish in a small pond, IMO. The Big Sky Conference is adding a few teams to make itself better.
Right now, the Grizzlies can decide who and where to play, make the move to FBS and you become the homecoming game for big schools while you try to get funding to keep up with them. To be honest, Montana only supports winners, Griz football would be a net loss for years.
Full disclosure, watching the Griz get their brains beat in for a decade would bring me great pleasure.

Agree completely with Moe except for the last line of course.
Very good news and glad to hear it.

had about 7 games going on at the same time here...and some wild ones at that.
I watched the Indiana/Wisconsin game a bunch simply because i couldnt tear myself away from it in a "car wreck" kind of way.
Badgers win 83-20. Thats 11TD's and 2 FG's. Indiana scored 20 and lost by 9 touchdowns. Never seen anything quite like it actually.
Iowa screwed the pooch...done as far as any Big 10 titles are concerned. Hopefully OSU follows suit this afternoon.

Four top-20 teams losing or tied right now. Should be a great next hour or so of football. And even though TCU is winning, how much does it hurt for them to see Utah (their only ranked win) losing by 25?

It should kill them, not sure it will though. The only team on their schedule that was supposed to be decent turned out to be a complete fraud.

Well, that seemed to work of BSU. But BSU gets the nod because of what?
the media has such a hard on for one of those two to make it into the title game. BSU played a team who plays in an indoor practice facility last night, TCU played Utah and OSU. BSU played VT and OSU but that is all.
Either way, those two wouldn't last in the pac 10, big 10, big 12, or SEC. Week in and out they wouldn't be able to make it.
Now, the big east and ACC would be winnable for them.

Looks like a wise investment for AllBarn, 200k for an SEC Championship invite, and if they win out or just lose the SEC Championship game they will get around 16 million.... 200k for 16 million? who wouldn't do that?

Oregon against Auburn in the National Championship would be a classic. 100 points!?

I think it'll be an Oregon rout if it does happen. Both clearly have two of the most dynamic offenses in the country, but I've seen no reason to believe that Auburn's defense could do anything to slow down Oregon. Oregon's defense isn't spectacular, but they'll at least be able to make some stops. I'd be surprised if Oregon didn't score every single possession against Auburn's D.

AllBarn can't play defense, they would be routed by Oregon.
Besides, I just don't think Allbarn is going to win out. They will lose to either Bama, or UF/USCe in the championship game.

Good to see Florida's offense revert back to the stone age...
51 total yards in the first half and a whopping 8:06 of time of possession..
Longest drive of the first half? 2:06....
LSU game all over again, I wish Meyer would be punched in the face and Adazzio kicked in the junk and have his playbook taken away from him.

No kidding. Defence played well, but LMJ and DT looked bad.

God I hope so because hopefully then we get to see TCU or Boise St. in the championship game.

TCU has no business being anywhere near the NC game. Wins over Oregon State and Utah, two teams that got stomped by horrible teams today, are the highlights of their resume. There are a number of teams in the country that could run the table against that schedule.

Don't forget BSU who's signature win came against a team that lost to James Madison.
