the only bad part about Bale's Batman is that stupid voice. never in the other movies, cartoons, video games, or anything else in which you actually hear his voice did Batman make himself sound like a throat cancer victim. no idea what Nolan was thinking there

Have you heard Bruce Greenwood's Batman from Under The Hood? It's pretty throat cancer esq.

The best Bruce Wayne is hands down Micheal Keaton. This is purely due to the actors ability to acurately portray the character.

Of course, in my opinion.

Best Batman: Bale
Best Bruce Wayne: Bale
Best Batman Movies: Nolan's

Michael Keaton was great and the 1989 Batman was fantastic, but Nolan took the feel to a different level and I totally enjoyed his stories more than Burton's.

Best Batman movie was the Dark Knight, but the cartoon one with Batman & Robin and Mr. Freeze? is pretty good too.

I'm really looking forward to this movie! The Dark Knight is one of my all-time favourite movies.

Totally agree. Bale really needs to turn down the throat cancer for this movie.

Not all of them. But Harley, Batman, and the Joker were. Gordon was different from the show.

But to a whole generation, Kevin Conroy IS the animated Batman.

Oh god, could you imagine Craig Conroy as Batman?

Craig: Ya you know I just looked back and Two Face had the Commish's kid with a gun to his head and I was like ahh man what are we gonna do now? I thought all of this I can't even imagine what his family is doing at home.. then you know I really came through in the end and I even said to Gordon before the show down "Hey you got kids in every movie but this one, maybe tonight they will make it in?" And he just kind of laughed but you know when it mattered he really came through.

Sorry, but the animated Batmans of the ADCU really are the best. The fact that Bale's biggest stumbling point is his hard-on to try and imitate Conroy tells you all you need to know.

I loved the Nolan movies, I think that Bale is the best Batman, I think Bale is the best Bruce Wayne, however overall best most iconic line goes to Keaton's Batman

Thug: wha... what are you?!
Batman: I'm Batman

Still makes me smile and gives me a fata yeah, feeling!

My second favourite line would be

Gamble: Do you think you can steal from us and just walk away?
Joker: Yeah

I feel like I need to re-watch the cartoon Batman shows and movies though. I wasn't overly impressed with Mask of the Phantasm though

I get the same feeling from the "I am fear, I am the night, I. Am. Batman!" line in TAS.

The only brutal thing about this moving coming up is that it'll be the last one. I don't understand why they don't just sign Nolan on for like 10 of these bad boys and keep pumping them out every few years.

God knows the money will be there.

Because Nolan wouldn't want to do that forever and I guarantee you that they all wouldn't be as awesome if you had 10 of them.

The thing about superhero movies that you don't find in comics or cartoons is that you really can only make a few before you'd need to reboot, unless it's animation or the main characters are animated.

It would take 20 years or so to get 10 Batman films out and in that time people are going to age to the point that they are unbelievable in the role or things are going to just skip ahead to fast and you'd start missing things or have huge exposition points.

After film 5, Nolan would likely have to restart or go a completely different direction. Chances are Bale wouldn't be interested in continuing on that far, Caine and Freeman are unlikely to act deep into their 80s and 90s so suddenly you have all new actors and what if they're not as good?

What villains can you use to keep things interesting for 10 movies? When do you recast the Joker, or justify bringing Harvey Dent back from the dead?

Super hero franchises just can't last long enough for that many films in one continuity.

I know we all hate Batman and Robin, but I think Clooney was a decent Bruce Wayne. But a terrible Batman.

I really don't blame Clooney for any of that mess. Any of the actors in fact. That entire mess is on the shoulders of Joel Schumacher.

Some of the actors he had were perfect for the roles cast in in B&R and Batman Forever, but nothing could save the direction and writing of those films.
