So I load up the game to play my season today, and I have to play the Sabres. It says the 3rd jersey is locked and the code is @ www.easports.com/nhl11 .. so I go there and I see nothing for a code. Google has even failed me.

Am I too ######ed off cold medicine? or is it just not there?

Won't be released till well into December.

In the meantime, you should be able to change their jerseys so that you can get past that screen.

saw a big update last time I played. Exp in GM mode was like cut in half. Any idea if they training has been fixed so players dont just learn faceoffs and fighting?

joborule (or anyone else), can you explain why after i download the roster update successfully (confirmed by checking the team roster/edit lines to see updated flames lineup including stajan as #1 center, mikkleson on the team), however, when i start a new "season" mode, all the changes are gone?!?

I have even saved the online roster, and ensured that when i start the season mode i select "latest" or "current" for the roster setting.

Did I miss it or does that whole list of changes not include the glaringly obvious issue of allowing CHL teams to sign any player regardless of age? If that's the case I'm absolutely floored at how inept this development team is.

Considering the complaints surrounding this game and the absoute disaster that was NBA 11 I'd say it's about time that Litman find himself a new line of work.

Just accept it valo and stack your team. A first line of Ovechkin-Crosby-Iginla would do pretty good in the CHL.

Speaking of bad franchise programming, I just got canned as the GM of the Flames for losing in the 3rd round, the year after I won the cup. Harsh.

Yeah I guess that's my only option, kind of takes the fun out of it though. I was pretty pumped to buy this game but from day one have been disappointed. Even attempts to fix errors have been pathetic. I don't think I'll be making a purchase next year.

In the past two games, I've noticed a new way to win faceoffs. They win it back to their D-men at blazing fast speed, almost as if it was a pass where you hold down for like 5 seconds and let go.

Anyone know how they're doing this off the draw? It appears to be very successful, despite them bobbling the puck a few times.

I somehow did that too a couple of times during my online games. I think it's the fact that you win the draw cleanly as I'm not doing anything different.

My fave is still the hold LB and flick the right analog stick up to win the draw between the guys 'legs. I did that off a centre ice draw and flew by the defenders and scored on a deke with Backlund, took all of 10 secs...love it!

When you're skating with the puck and you tap on LT (for 360) and you push the puck up thus creating a mini speed burst. Bad thing is don't have control of the puck anymore as it's not on your stick, which is why i much prefer clicking on the right analog stick for the speed burst effect, although that does kill your stamina rather quickly.

It's also a problem when you some to click L just the orient you player in the right direction before shooting, and instead he pushes it forward and you have a little burst right into a D. I prefered Rbumper

Probably no to both...but is there a way to edit either what draft picks teams have before starting a Be a GM season (IE Move Edmonton's 1st Round 2011 to Calgary) or edit the length of contract (IE - Make Backlund's contract 10 years in length)?
