Simply awful. I don't know how people can eat that stuff. I had like one bite with the icing and I threw the icing away immediately. It's just a fistfull of sugar! Gross!!!
I've always hated desserts though, even as a kid. When it was time to eat cake at birthday parties, I would get sad.

Shut up. You're Asian. go back to school and drive up the class gpa and pay your 4 times tuition. hehe
Also all you whities out there, goto a chinese bakery and buy a birthday cake from there. It's only a billion times better than that sheite that they serve at costco and safeway.

The Cupcakes I've had are more filling then a simple donut. I can't believe I don't remember the name. maybe I'll just google places in BC. I had to cut it in half and eat it with a fork lol. That was worth $2.95 to me
How much do cookies cost at a place like Cookies By George? They weren't that filling to me the one time I tried them, but the place is always packed.

Based on the surprising number of guys who like cupcakes, I'm thinking I should open a store like this.
"Pintcakes Pandemonium: like cupcakes, only less gay."

Are these the same guys who notice how other guys wear their Flames jersey to the game?

We've had a few cupcake places pop up around Portland, too. I'm with H&L, though, can't stand frosting, so I've avoided them. However, I love the meatloaf & mashed potato "cupcakes" that a friend of mine makes.
The big desert thing around here right now is pie. There's always room for pie.

My daughter had her birthday party this weekend. She wanted Crave Cupcakes instead of a cake. It was 90% icing on top of a little small piece of cake. The icing tasted very good but it was way way too much. It was good for a one time thing.

A chick could either go to Costco and get a dozen cupcakes for 5 bucks or get one overloaded with fat/sugar for 4 bucks, either way she is still going to get fat. It is optics plain and simple.

I had a crave cupcake once......... and then i jizzed in my pants..............
Seriously though i love Crave, the chocolate/chocolate is really good. I cant really eat a whole one because of how rich they are but once in a while me and the GF will go get one each and eat them. They are really good.
All you people saying that $3 for a cupcake is dumb... how much did you pay for that beer at the saddledome??? or at any bar for that matter.
Exactly... you waste more money on other things.

Make the all-female staff of your cupcake store wear bikinis and you have a winner.

You can't put needs and wants in the same categories.
