Default WEEK 19: STAMPEDERS at Winnipeg

This is pretty much a nothing game. Winnipeg are already out of the playoff contention but they will probably use this game as their training camp to see how their young QB react to the Stamps defense. For Calgary, they might rest a few of their starters but I am sure they will still play as hard as they can as they will be off for 2 weeks. Drew Tate and Jesse Lumsden will see a lot of actions tonight.

GO STAMPS GO!!

Tate looks great. How many teams would love to have him as a starter?

Yup,his first CFL touchdown and he doesn't keep the ball.

He comes across as a pretty likable guy from his show on the FAN,good on 'em.

Chevy scored a TD before.

I am hoping for Huf to give Cornish and Lumsden some chances to run the ball a lot after this quarter. Rest Reynolds.

Good win for the Stamps. Tate played well and now they go into their bye with a 2 game win streak.

I'm pretty sure Jesse Lumsden is made of balsa wood.

They wanted to extend their dubious record.

any word on cornish?

Lumsden was a given he would get hurt, cornish is a big loss if he's out.

Cornish has a concussion but claims he will play in the West final.

I want to watch Lumsden and Sami Salo run into each other and see who breaks first, but they'd both probably tear something while walking to the starting point.

The thing with Lumsden and the injuries though is his righteous indignation (echoed by his old man) that he isn't injury prone and that the media overplays it. He's an arrogant SOB.

Great talent, hate to see someone get injured so often, but I'm curious to see if this tones down the attitude a bit.

Hopefully it doesn't affect his bobsledding.
