Default Cool down, Calgary Longboarders

Anyone else just about get picked off by a longboarder. It seems that they seek out the big paved hills that usually have blind corners in many city parks. Often when it is almost dark and about the only thing you can do as they come towards you at 50-80k/hour is stay low in a hip check position. Maybe it is the nice weather but they are hitting the hills into November this year and with greater frequentcy and the cult sport is catching on.....when will laws/safety/common sense catch up to them? Who should I report them to Or is there thrill seeking more important then the safety of others?

Dial 311. Or call the CRA. Have him audited because longboarders are hippies. Hippies don't pay taxes. Therefore longboarders don't pay their tax.

Longboarding is pretty dangerous. A longboarder died in Vancouver last year, and I think I remember another serious injury recently. Maybe they need designated longboarding parks, kind of like skate parks.

And they could add chair lifts... and cover the parks in snow... and call it COP.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but am I the only one that thinks skateboarding is a kids game and any one over 15 should grow up and get a car/bike etc.

Vancouver is full of badly dressed 30 year olds riding skateboards trying to pretend they aint getting old and are down with the youth.
