Default The Office Season 7

In my personal opinion this has been the strongest season the Office has produced since S2-S3. They've toned down Pam/Jim, made them much more likeable this year and I find myself laughing like I did during some classic S2 Episodes.

Only should get better with the return of Amy Ryan for the second half of the season too.

It's been good, really good. I loved Andy's Play, Michael's audition was amazing. Who is Amy Ryan again?

I wish it was more like seasons 1-3 where it was actual office stuff going on, not crazy like scotts tots... so dumb.

Its still way too looney for me, and the erin is probably the most annoying character on TV

Have you watched this season? That's all the entire start of the season has been between Andy's play (which was still a great episode) and tonights episode. Besides that, everyone has taken place in the office and been about what is going on in the office setting.

I just wish Jim would mess around with Dwight a bit more. That was always the funniest dynamic to me.

Maybe it's just me... but tonights episode "WUPHF.com" has been one of the best this season, and one of the better ones in a long time.

Agreed, this has been the worst season. Spending way too much time on Andy. Dwight owns the building and they're not using this? c'mon. That tall dude has been a useless addition.

Needs more Jim-Dwight feuds. What happened with the new hired gun, wasn't invited to tall dude's house to watch Glee?

Seasons 6 and 7 are absolutely horrendous. This show ended after season 5.

I watched seasons 1 - 5 religiously. I can't even watch 6 and 7. Brutal.

Totally agree! I nearly fell to the floor laughing so hard.

My favorite episode has to be "product recall" from season 3. Lord, beer me strength.

i've really tried to get into this show time and again, thinking i must be missing something, but i just don't get it. it seems to be 90% based on awkward pause humor, which is something i've never particularly enjoyed. some of the scenes i've watched over the years with Dwight and Jim have been humorous, but Steve Carrell's character has never struck a nerve with me. if i can watch that role playing scene Flab posted and not laugh then i guess this show just isn't for me

I thought this season started strong, had a weak episode, but the next one is good. But the last few (minus today's as I haven't seen it), have been terrible.

I liked Jim's prank on Gabe today, reminds me of the stuff from when he was a good character on the show.

My favorite part of Season 7 so far:

There have been a lot of really good moments like this, so I'm officially deeming the Office resurrected.

I own seasons 1-5 and love them, and I am so disappointed with season 7 that I have almost become indifferent about watching. It's had its moments, but mostly it's just not that funny anymore. They seem to be getting away from the "talking head" aside commentaries that IMO provided some of the funniest material. The Office used to be the funniest show on TV and now it has fallen so far that I'd rather wait a half hour and watch Outsourced.

I loved seasons 1-5, and thought season 6 was pretty poor. However, I think season 7 has been great. I'm so glad Dwight, Jim and Pam are being downplayed in favour of the Nard-dog. To my eyes, the show has been totally resurrected.
