Cool down, Calgary drivers.
Let me preface by saying I'm not attempting to do a finger wag here, so I apologize if it comes off that way. But when I go 68 in a construction zone that's 60... in the right lane down stoney trail I shouldn't be subjected to someone flooding me with their high beams 5 feet behind my car. What the hell? Then, when i take the off ramp at the Scenic acres turn off (speed limit is 40 and its a sharp off ramp) I do 45 and this new jagoff goes maybe 4 feet off my bumper before slamming his brakes, and does so again at the red light.
What the hell??? I get that speeding is a great way to get places faster but don't make people's lives miserable if they aren't accommodating in your selfish driving needs.

I take that route home every day from work.
Yesterday there were cops at the bottom of Stoney in the construction zone...but I was doing about 78 in the 60 and they let me go by...so maybe the limit has been bumped up to 80 since there were no workers in sight? Or, more likely, they were just looking for people going 20+km over.
Whoever that jackoff was, I would have purposely gone down to the limit exactly and kept braking.
I'm a horrible speeder but I don't get pissed with people who are doing the limit...as long as its not in the left lane. Unless they are Asian and can't see over the steering wheel...then it's warranted.

Seriously, what is up with you two and the smiley use? You know you can write a sentence that conveys emotion without using an emiticon. Right?
Edit: you three.

Yeah man cops are going nuts there. There are speed traps there almost every other day, and almost always on the north side. I swear tims is opening up a shop there soon.

Yea I totally don't blame you for going slow there...they are there a lot. I already got a ticket going north a few months back there that I'm in court fighting at the end of this month.

You WERE being accommodating by driving in the right lane. Guy should have gone around you.

Someone was 4 feet behind you and you didn't slam your breaks to scare the crap out of them? That's probably my favourite part of driving...

Just progressively slow down next time. Don't hit the brakes, but slow to a crawl.

Until the driver hits your vehicle and you have to get it fixed. Then it's not so funny. Happened to a friend of mine years ago.

You know who does that? Old people. Don't be an idiot. I hope your brainiac friend had to pay for the damage done to both cars.

Old people? He was in his 20's when he pulled that stupid stunt. I can't remember if he was forced to pay for the others guys damages but I agree he should have.
