During my trip to India (backpacked it) I thoroughly enjoyed the food, although we ate at respectable restaurants. (All indian food, obviously)

Fair enough, thing is you didn't say that until now. Instead you went with the 'it's the worst place in the world' bit.

Could be, although while there I did have to eat Indian food most of the time so it isn't like I went out only once or twice. I have been to many Indian resturants and buffets in different countries as well so I think that I have had a wide assortment but certainly makes sense that I haven't had it all.

Don't think that I have had Chicken tikka but who knows as I ate a lot of things I did not know what it was.
 |
If you've actually eaten Indian food widely, especially in countries other than India, you have most definitely eaten chicken tikka. Just that one food has a ridiculous amount of variety. Chicken tikka masala, the national dish of Britain (that's how many people enjoy Indian food), is tari, or wet, while chicken tikka by itself is generally sukhi, or dry. Chicken eaten this way, cooked in a legit tandoor, is some of the most mouth watering chicken you'll ever taste.

Why would you go to Indian buffets and restaurants in other countries if you find it some of the worst food you've ever tasted, anyway?

Also, I don't "invite" them anywhere, I WORK with them, and there are assigned break times.

Lol you are hilarious. So becuse they don't have the best manners you paint the whole Indian race with a giant brush? Now I don't have many Indian friends, but the one's I've encountered don't seem to be at all like you're describing.

Maybe they were brought up in Canada and learnt there manners from their fellow white friends? Because you know I've met alot of white people that love hotdogs and surely the white race has only hotdogs for dinner and has no sense of culture whatsoever
What you described has nothing to do with race but mostly with the actual person and this is why I am amazed that people actually voted a brown guy into the mayor's office.

Thankfully most people don't live in your racist world.

At one hotel we lived in they had one restuarant and Tuesday nights was Indian night so we went there a few times. Had bosses take the staff out to Indian Resturants a few times and didn't want to say no.

Also figured I would give it a chance since people always say how great it is.

Well i still think it is the worst place in the world. Not sure how saying people have different likes or dislikes changes that. I assume people would know that it was only my opinion.

Hm, not enough bloated carcasses being pecked at by birds. Possibly photoshopped to remove them?

The Ganges is not just a river, its a holy river for the Hindu's in a Hindu dominated country. The government cannot just stop the beliefs they have from ages about bathing in there. Yeah there are health issues and yes the government can help clean them but that's a different issue as there are a lot of areas the Indian Government can improve on.

On your comment about nuclear weapons, what does that have to do with allowing people to bathe in the Ganges? India has never been a threat to start a nuclear war with any country including their biggest rival Pakistan.

To whoever is new here, getting into an argument with Moon is completely pointless. Thank you for the ignore option.

Btw, I did make a contribution to the thread since you only see/think what your little brain wants to see/think. (Read what I wrote before warning posters)
