Tranmere Rovers will wear a special shirt in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal


TRANMERE’S long-standing support for the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal is going a step further this year – they are putting their shirts on it.
When Rovers take the field for the League One encounter against MK Dons at Prenton Park on Saturday, the players will be wearing special shirts with a red poppy printed into the chest.
The shirts will be signed by the players after the game and auctioned, with the proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal.
The MK Dons match will also feature a ground collection for the Poppy Appeal.

Totally forgot that there was a full League 1 schedule yesterday.

Tranmere lost 2-0 away to Carlisle United on goals 3 minute before and after halftime.

Rovers are back in the relegation zone
