Default Help me remember a PBS show from the 80's

It is driving me nuts! This guy would draw a chalk dude and make his life hell and the little chalk dude would get so pissed off and I can't remember the name of it. Anyone remember this show?

Any of you remember a show on PBS called "Ghostwriter"? I loved that when I was growing up.

Actually, on the topic of a random, suppressed memory of a TV show, I hazily remember a TV show/movie (animated) that was centered on a creepy island and there was a haunted mansion that the characters were trapped in. I think they arrived on the island via some old sailer on a row boat. All I remember was I was crapping my pants.

Thoughts? Sorry for the poor description.

That and Electric Company, but Hilarious House of Frightenstan will always have special spot in my heart. One of the best children's show ever made in Canada.

Was it Electric Company or 3-2-1 Contact that had the Bloodhound Gang? "You got the crime, we got the time, we're the Bloodhound Gang!"

Not to be confused with the eponymous band.

It was 3-2-1 Contact!. I haven't met many people that remember that show. Edison Twins may have been a canadian attempt, as they were such dorks.

Reading Rainbow was better than all those shows.
