Carl's Jr. is Hardee's in the East and I find it to be good to great. Probably my favourite fast food. I have been meaning to try Sonic forever, more people seem to love it than hate it.

The absolute worst fast food in the world has to be White Castle. Makes me want to puke even thinking about it.

Sonic was alright, nothing special. Its just a cool experience to go there and order and have the girls bring your food out on roller blades.

In and Out is by far my favorite fast food joint in the states.

I've only ever had Sonic once, but it utterly failed to live up to the reputation. I'd give it another chance if it opened up here though.

Still waiting for that Five Guys to open...

Sonic is an Oklahoma Company... I love me some Sonic burgers! Their Cheese tator tots are pretty delicious! There seems to be a Sonic every few blocks here in Oklahoma City. Im not complaining though, I think I will Sonic for lunch today!

Looks like the OP is willing to trade capitalization in his posts for a Sonic Burger. Someone please help him out so his posts are easier to read.

Until then, it just might be worth the drive to Medicine Hat. [Yes, Five Guys is that good.]

I've never been to Sonic (I don't go out of my way for any fast food in California... other than In-N-Out), but would certainly give it a try if I spotted one and was hungry. I expect I'd appreciate the beverages more than the food, though.

They also had a funny commercial series last year.

You can tell White Castle is gross by the pictures of their burgers. If a burger looks gross, almost inedible in the advertisement, theres a good chance its terrible.

They are building in Airdrie. No idea when it will be open though.

When i was young we would go on vacation by way of driving to disney world... every year, when we did we would always love white castle. I guess they have changed because i had them a few months ago and they were just horrible!

I only want sonic for three things

1) Beverages. Their Slushes and Limeades are amazing
2) Desserts. screw Blizzards
3) In-car service. This is a must.

We've only been there once - a couple weeks ago in Post Falls.

I got the Western Chili Burger, and thought it was delicious.

Billings was already in fast food heaven. You have a damned Del Taco! It does NOT get any better than Del Taco.

I love Del Taco, most people don't think of it when there is a Taco Bell/Taco John's in every retail district.

Carl's is tasty, sure, but it just isn't sustainable for me. It's more of a once in awhile "treat" for my digestive tract (similar to KFC). On the other hand, eating In-N-Out leaves me feeling satisfied and remarkably normal.

Oh, and almost continuing on the topic of tasty fast food burgers... I also really like Mr. Mike's. [They have locations in Airdrie, Okotoks, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Edmonton and all over B.C.] I think Carl's Jr. reminded me of them, as their Six Dollar Burgers bear a slight resemblance for me.

As far as chicken burgers go, the Skookumchuk (found on Mr. Mike's lunch menu) is my current favourite. I tried it while stopped in Cranbrook this summer. Unfortunately, I will not be able to fulfill my craving for awhile. That was one tasty sandwich!
