It's funny how vengeful people can be when you eat their portion of chicken, but that's the nature of the game. If you want to eat more chicken than everybody else, you better be willing to face the consequences. For Tyrone, consequences will never be the same.
I am a little shocked that they didn't off Na'Onka last night though. When she transitioned from loud and annoying to weak and annoying, I thought it would be a home run for who to vote off. I guess not.

I still can't believe Dan has lasted this long. The guy is useless in challenges, fire wood collection, food gathering and pretty much anything else. Right now they need to maintain a strong tribe to win the challenges. I guess they do have two young guys there still but they should have just told Tyrone to shut the hell up and then vote out Dan.
High five to Regulator75 for being the other person to pick Kelly S. Haven't even seen her so far... She's going to come out of the bushes once everyone is down and kill the king.

Pretty crazy tribal council tonight. The "Brenda Alliance" really shot themselves in the foot tonight by segregating their own group. I hope Marty goes on the warpath next week - he certainly had the crazy look in his eye at the end.
While the younger players may be better in challenges (aside from Holly and Yve tonight), they really lack in the strategy part of the game. Do they not realize how fast Dan will flop back over to Marty and Jill if he makes it to the merge?

I was just coming on here to post this comment as well. She has been invisible for the first six episodes. The only time you hear her name is in challenges. This bodes incredibly well for her in the end.
I wish she would get more air time though, she is gorgeous!
I was kind of shocked how that ended. Looked like Marty was on the outs, so as soon as they voted again I just figured Marty was done like dinner. But they kept him. They wanted to flush out the idol, but they didn't vote him out? That was really weird.
Just hope he and Jill can figure out a way to hod out until the merge. And he has to make amends in his own tribe, or figure out how to get Brenda the heck out of there. At least he has Fabio in his pocket, just needs to find one or two more to help him out.
A head scratcher of an episode.
Marty hangs on again and Jill gets the boot <ouch>. How in the heck did Marty think he would be better off giving the idol to the young tribe and "trusting" them to do right? I think I would have held on to it and used it myself as opposed to letting the young tribe get to use it. In the end he would still have been around at least one more week.
Fortunately for Marty the tribes merge next week and he may be able to pull another rabbit out of his arse.
Cheese summed it up pretty well. Not really sure why they would keep an idol-less Marty and vote Jill out instead. It's not as if they were voting out Jury members.
Sash could find himself in some hot water with his alliance after his slip of the tongue.
Marty is going to have to scramble after the merge next week, but somehow I get the feeling that he'll stick around for the time being.
to me Sasha has effectively put a poison pen in Marty into the Jury after making those two "Look you in the eye and shake your hand promises"
If Marty is smart he asks for the immunity idol back from Sasha next week, and when Sasha refuses he blasts him at tribal council for the lie.
Even if Sasha gets to the final, he's not going to win.
It was a dumb move.
And is anyone underwhelmed with this season.
I attribute a lot of it to the younger players in the game. Most of them are just floating their way through with little to no thought of actual strategy. Marty seems to be the only true gamer at this point in time.
Additionally, there are a lot of really bland, boring people with no personality.
Chase - Boring. No desire to take control of the game even though he has the potential to do so.
Jane - Stupid and boring. Generic old hick lady. Lacks the intelligence to do anything other than what her "friends" tell her to. She can be offed at any point.
Na'Onka - I don't even know what to say. Tries to create conflict by being annoying. How is this woman a teacher?
Sash - Flying by the seat of his pants. Making irrational decisions and frankly just playing a dumb game. Sadly I think he'll make it to the top 6 at least, but not because he's played a good game.
Brenda - Distracts people with her sexy Mexicasian body. No real strategy to her game. She's still here because she is on the right side of the number's game thus far.
Alina - Generic younger player. Doesn't have a strong alliance right now. She'll have to make new friends after the merge to stick around. May surprise people by sticking around longer than expected.
Benry - Starting to come into his own and dominate in the challenges. I'm not really sure who his alliance is right now, but I feel he will become a target as a "physical threat" sooner than later.
Holly - Generic middle-aged woman. Zero strategy to her game. She will basically do whatever she is told to do.
Jud - Borderline brain-damaged. I don't know if I just feel pity for him, or what it is, but I find myself cheering for this guy. Hopefully Marty takes him under his wing so-to-speak and they can create a decently strong alliance.
Dan - Being played like a fiddle. He's only still in the game because he is such a non-threat. The only individual immunity challenge this guy could possibly win is a bicep curl competition.
Kelly S - Who is this? Is she even in the game? It'll be kind of funny when they get down to the final 3 and discover that apparently there has been some blonde girl playing the whole time and somehow she made it to the end.
Marty - Really has his work cut out for him. He has such a large target on his back that he's going to need to play a Russell-like game to even think about making it to the end.
ya this season is really underwhelming, but coming off two Russell season's its to be expected
I was reading an interview with Probst before the season started though and am all ready excited for some of the rumors the write brought up, which probst didn't deny, about next season
A little late to the party, but switching the tribes up was the worst thing that could've happened to me, as Jill and Marty were sitting pretty with the older tribe. I too, am at a loss for words with the younger players, as they don't really look like they think the game very well. Right now, they have numbers so they are in control, but it will be interesting to see if any of them can play the game when it's time to vote each other off.
Marty is in deep doo-doo. I hope he just sits back, shuts his yapper and lets another player or two shoot themselves in the foot during the next episode. He could turn out to be a valuable swing vote, I just hope he doesn't give them an obvious reason to give him the boot. Let somebody else do that.
Well, Marty is still in deep doo-doo, even after a merge. I was really hoping he would just shut his yap and let someone else dig their own grave, but he went a little too long at tribal last night, I guess understandable since he thought he may be going home.
Next week looks interesting, Na'onka looks like she loses he cool at tribal council, which would be nice.
It's unfortunate that Na'Onka has a strong enough alliance to stick around for another week, but if the preview of next week means anything, maybe she goes ape at the next tribal and makes it impossible not to vote her off. I can only wish at this point.
Loved Benry's comment at the end calling Alina a grade-A dirt squirrel, although I have no idea what that means. Maybe I can look it up in Urban Dictionary or something.
I'm wondering why Marty didn't demand his immunity idol back form Sash, seeing as he didn't win the immunity challenge.
I think Benry should be considered a strong contender to win it all.
He flies under the radar physically because of chase and Fabio, I think he plays the social game really well by being quiet and likeable, but he also clearly has both fire and strategy in him by his comments the latest episode.
Talking about the merge he mentions how it might be time to adjust his alliances because it is now an individual game. Right there, the guy is clued in to how things work. Then at the end of the episode, he really shows his vindictive side with the 'ground squirrel' comment. Obviously he has been quietly targeting Alina for some time.
I think the show has been underwhelming to some extent because of the team mixing that went on, kind of killed the back-and-forth nature of the show.

I would agree with what your saying, somehow I see Fabio ending up in the final three, he hasn't done anything to put himself into jeopardy, and for a guy thats being seen as stupid, well its the stupid ones who usually do well in this game because of how its slanted.
Marty may have shot himself in the foot, but his prudent move now that he's guaranteed to be in the jury is to demand the immunity idol back, just to see if he can get it.
Oh and

We worked nights together picking orders in a warehouse, and listened to this song almost nightly.
It was pretty hilarious to any delivery driver that came in to the sounds of Queen blaring with a couple of goofs zipping around with forklifts and pallet jacks, rocking the 'ef out.
And...........I'm done. Too bad, things looked great for me before the merge. Then Jill was gone, and Marty yapped way too much since then. Na'Onka has got to go soon. Sometimes I wonder if some of these people realize they are on TV and everyone will see their actions. She's a school teacher, no?
Anyways, not as good of a season as last year, but lots of time left sill. Hope some of the useless people start playing the game. Hope there's more surprises left, as well.
