First Game is Sat night.

Any predictions?

Storylines?

Edges to one team in a certain area(s)>

....?

I'm kind of torn on this one. Nice to see two fresh new teams; not sure who to cheer for however.

Astros starting pitching is unbelievable....until you look at the ChiSox and what they did in the ALCS. 4 complete games in a row? There were a MAJORITY of teams that never saw that happen ALL YEAR.

All that being said...feeling the Astros mojo working....Houston in 6.

I've under-rated the Chisox every step of the way....and I will again.

Stros in 5.

No predictions, but I'm pulling for the Astros.

Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell DESERVE to win the World Series. 2 great players who have played in one city their entire careers. Rare and noble IMO.

I am not cheering for either team because I would like to see them both win it but I think the ChiSox have more. I think this will be one of the best pitched world series in along time.

Kenny Williams traded the Jays damaged goods in Mike Sirotka, then used his buddies in the MLB office to bail himself out. Can't root for Chicago with him around.

Go Houston.

Astros in 6. Like you said, DFF, those veterans deserve it more than anything else. Also, the Astros have NEVER made it this far in their history, so why not go all the way?

Of course, Clemens pitches for the Astros... ugh.

This all could have been avoided had St. Louis won the NLCS, and we could all cheer for Larry Walker in peace.
