Just back from the polling station, and it was great voting while holding my newborn son. Once again, democracy wins.

Hahah. They are both wearing purple! Darryl Janz and David Spence for the win!
(seriously, that can't be a coincidence...can it?)

I asked on Twitter - looks like they can continue campaigning until 8pm, just so long as it isn't within 100m radius of the polling station.

Nenshi.
Anyone in Ward 6 vote for Randy Royer simply because he looks like Robert Herjavec from the Dragons' Den?

The lines are nuts. Wish I had used the advance polling stations.

I was in and out in 10 minutes at about 5pm. Glad I didn't put it off.

I've heard that she's not the most pleasant person to work with and wasn't well liked in the newsroom..

We let our staff out early to get to the polls. No brainer since most seemed to be voting for Nenshi!
It'll be interesting how the night ends up.......

Is there anywhere that I can watch election results online?
I realize CTV is starting right at 8 but rather than taking over the TV all night I'll let my roomies watch their movie and steal it at 10.

She apparently got the nickname queen Barb by most of the staff there.

With so many Nenshi voters on this forum, can the election be looked at like a CP Jihad if he wins?
