So there is a lot to be decided in that Division yet. Colts are going to be in tough with the injuries that they're dealing with to stay on top there.

Both Indy and Houston have a bye week this week but after that play IMO the game of the year for both clubs against each other @ Indy. If Houston wins that they would be a game up (and virtually 2 as they would have the tibreaker). If Indy wins then they are a game up,the season series would be split and they don't look back.

One thing's for sure, the more i think I have the NFL figured out even a little bit, the more i know nothing at all.
6 weeks in and there isn't a single NFC team that doesnt have at least 2 losses. Who, if any of them, are truly good teams? Someone has to be. The fact that the answer to that question changes week to week suggests that perhaps a bunch are good, or none are...which is against all trends ever in the league.
then when you look at the AFC, it appears there is nothing but a plethora of really good teams. And that would include the Chiefs who's defense absolutely gagged one away yesterday that would have had them in the discussion as well...especially if you suscribe to the addage of "you are as good as your record is".
just wierd. Going with what we have seen thus far, does that not mean that Jacksonville thumps the Titans tonight?
Hard to forecast anything anymore. Except that the Bills and the Panthers really are bad.

Yeah, the NFL is tough to figure thus far as the Steelers, Jets, Patriots are the only teams with a single loss. I suppose one could argue that the Steelers going forward would seem to be the best team now that they have their QB back. Had the Ravens defeated the Patriots yesterday you could say they are based on them beating the Jets in New York, and Steelers in Pittsburgh. Perhaps you could say New England still is because their only loss was on the road to the Jets.....Yeah, it's not easy.
If only my Chiefs had won yesterday, than they'd be a team you have to legitimately consider as being in the playoff mix. As is they're still in decent shape given their Division. But....truth is that the AFC West winner is probably a weaker team than the runner up in the North, and the third place team in the South or East.

I'm proud as punch to be a Chiefs fan right now. Sure they lost yesterday, not without some controversy though (I have never seen a player verbally assault an official like I saw Branden Flowers do yesterday).
Dewayne Bowe had a huge game, which he needed. Cassel played very well also. With Cassel it looks like he will be fine to manage the game. If he needs to make a comeback? Your hooped.
The Chiefs young defense will learn from that game and will only continue to get better.

Love the fake lambeau leap. Not to mention the play call was absolutely perfect for the defensive play call.

North East Goon is a fellow Niners fan.
Next month I'm taking a trip to Candlestick to see my first live NFL game.
