Woo!
We win!

A win or a Riders loss and we win the division.

Great comeback, didn't think the Stamps could pull it off in Saskatchewan.

We did it, our chances of winning the Grey Cup increased immensely with that win.

Hope the haters will shut up. That was a gutsy win. I called out DD for his conservative play calling but he opened it up in 2nd half and it worked as the ground pounding really opened up the pass.

The D was absolutely dominant in the 2nd half although Brandon Smith needs to start covering better and wrapping up for tackles.

Zero catches for Fantuz. Suck it Rider fans!

YeeHaw!! Stamps won!!

The real Stampeders showed up in the 2nd half and definitely took the game from the Riders in that half. If you take away the Burris INT, which I thought was not really that fault. I thought Patrick did a great job tracking down the ball. If he wasn't there, Bryant would have caught the ball for a first down. The 2nd turnover on Rambo's fumble. I thought Huf could have challenge the call. Rambo didn't really have the complete possession before he dropped the ball. It also looked the ball was a bit outside before the Riders player picked it up. Oh well, not a big deal because a few plays later, Calgary recovered a fumble by Durant. Nice hit by Milton Collins though and good run by Corey Mace. The 2nd half consisted of a lot of mixed plays (run & pass). Big game for Joffrey and I also big game for Browner shutting down Stamps' killer Andy Fantuz. Henry Burris didn't do much in the first half, 6 pass attempts for 51 yards I believed but they did established their running game early though.

Calgary didn't start off well in the game. They gave up a TD right away on Durant's passing and it looks like the game will be another blowout against the Stamps. They hang in enough in the first half but they turned up the notch in the 2nd half. Always love the win against the Riders anytime, any day. Calgary is now 4 points ahead of the Riders. Does anyone think MLB Barrin Simpson is the most overrated linebacker in the CFL? Everybody keeps saying how good this guy stopping the run and they even dubbed him as the Minister of Defense. I don't think so. Where is the Minister of Defense now with Joffrey Reynolds and even Cornish racking up the yards. Oh yeah what about that guy from TO, Cory Boyd just ran him over all game last time? Minister of Defense my butt!

Oh yeah, i thought the special team did a better job on this game. Murphy gave us some good field position pretty much all game and the cover team did a heck of a job against Bryce-Mullen.

I don't like so much man-to-man vs. SASK. Durant only has three things going for him - the long pass vs. man-to-man, pass interference, or fake pass and run. When you force him to nickel and dime down the field he will screw up.

[QUOTE=Beerfest;2724513]They just showed a Stampeder fan wearing a cowboy hat, was that you?

They also showed a guy wearing an Iginla jesey, Bryant threw a ball to him, was that perhaps you?[/QUOUTE]

That was my buddy, I was to his left. We made it on TV twice, on the TD to make it 19-17 and the TD to take the lead at 24-19. Now we're celebrating victory sipping sweet 'Calgary' brand beer! We're the least popular people in town.

Yeah it's becoming pretty evident that the Riders live and die with the big play. When teams take away the deep ball and force them to go underneath the Riders lose.

Also very telling that the Stamps gave up two giant plays (the Getzlaf completion and the later Getzlaf TD) and still won.

If your offense can hit for two 60+ yard gains (leading to 14 pts) and still not be effective enough to win a game that says something.

Also saw Cowboy89 shown after a Stamps TD celebrating, way to go man!
