Unfortunate, but a call that had to be made.

2 straight losses in OT...wonder if that ties some macbre record?
3 out of 4 games in which they had a chance to win late and came up empty. Ouch. The injuries simply are killin em.
At least the Bears choked one up...only hope is the division IMO.

Well the NFC is getting a bit interesting. The Cowboys are now in a lot of difficulty with that 1-4 record, and the Vikings at 2-3 and having 5 Division games left are in a lot better shape inside their Division. Man, if the Chiefs could have just held on and got to 4-1 they'd really have a leg up on the rest of the AFC West. Unfortunately thats the type of game the awful teams of the last three years would lose. Hopefully they'll rebound next week.

Yeah I wasn't meaning that they are finished, just that they have to win all their big matchups now. With 2nd to 4th all having 2-4 records (Oakland, Denver, San Diego), Denver of course still has a chance. I wonder what it will do to the confidence of the team though. They were leading for so long and effed it up at the end. Oakland plays Denver next week and the loser of that game is finished IMO because Kansas City will probably win next week to go to 4-2. In fact, part of my comment was because I think KC will win their next 3 games ( vs Jaguars, vs Bills, @ Raiders) to go to 6-2.

Oilfan you stoked on the Colts Redskins game tonight?
I think it's gonna be a great game between 2 great QB's.
I've been working all day so could someone give me a rundown as to what happened in the games today?

Of course. Based on the pass yards the Redskins give up, Peyton should have a huge game through the air. If the defense plays how it did last week, they will be fine. If they play how they did earlier this year vs Houston and Jacksonville, the Colts will be in trouble. 1st quarter will set the tempo. Indy needs to get out to a lead and have a good game heading into the bye week next week and then a HUGE matchup @ home vs the Texans.
EDIT: Just look at this page for a rundown. It is easily my favorite place to get anything NFL related. ESPN on TV is amazing for sports stuff.

I'm sorry come again? Austin extended his hands and pushed off of the Vikings DB. Pass interference 10 times out of 10.
At the end of the game, they usually let it go because it's closer to the end of the game, but I don't see why they should make calls differently at the end of a game.

Pretty impressive that if Peyton can get 300 yards tonight it will be his 60th career 300 yard passing game:
1. Marino - 63
2. Favre - 61
3. P. Manning - 59
The next 2 highest active QB's in that category are Brees (38) and Brady (30).

The Fins and Davone Bess have agreed to a 2 year contract extension. Sounds like Bess will now be the highest paid slot receiver in the NFL.

Nope, it went both ways and the defender went down like a sack of potatoes.

The defensive PI call at the end of the game was laughable at best. It's not catchable, henceforth there is no pass to interfere with.
Cowboys were boned by the refs tonight, in addition to their own stupidity.

Not that I know of.
We have a ton of fans on here from a lot of teams but I don't think I have seen a Washington fan.
