The New York Yankees have asked mlb for forfeit wins of their doubleheader against the D-Rays, who could not get out of town due to hurricane Frances!

Thankfully Selig is showing a rare display of balls and telling the Yankees to stick their request where the sun dont shine.

That is a ridiculously insensitive request. Did the Yankees honestly think their wish would be granted? Selig isn't stupid, if he did what the Yankees wanted, the rest of the league and all the fans would be in an uproar. Damn Yankees, they are fun to watch, but jeez, they know how to make asses of themselves.

Classless Yankees. These guy's homes are getting demolished and they can't fly out because of a hurricane and all you can really think about is getting a win via forfeit?!
What a bunch of clowns....

Here's an updated link after Baseball rejected the Evil Empire's request.

Baseball to Evil Empire: What planet are you from?

They've already got the biggest payroll by far in baseball. The Yankees buy their way out of mistakes, injuries and bad play.

Did I tell you I hate the Yankees?

ESPN's Jayson Stark is rather sympathetic to the Yankee cause.

Blame MLB
