I can't be the only one...

Mexicans trying to get my credit card info. Answered the call innocently enough last week, realized it was a scam after a few seconds and said please don't call again, and I've been bombarded with calls ever since.

I'm talking like 5 an hour, every day for almost 2 weeks.

Sigh.

Call Telus/Rogers/whoever you use and ask them to block the number.

Quick Google search shows - Unless they spoof the number.

I asked the Rogers store and they said best thing to do is switch the number... Didn't mention anything about being able to block a number. That would be amazing.

If you have a Shaw phone you can block by logging into their online customer services.

I'd like to think that Rogers could block a number that's harassing you. As someone else mentioned, you can do it yourself with Shaw, so I can't see why Rogers couldn't at least do it for you.

I get annoyed when the same telemarketer number calls every few days - I'd be ready to kick someone in the head if it was multiple times an hour.

You could also set your phone to send the number directly to voicemail.

Answer the phone, don't say anything, and let the call last exactly 3 seconds. That tells the autodialer to skip your number the next time.

That has to be software dependent and not universal.
