Huge game from the new additions for the Sharks!

Simon Gagne with a helper on three of the four goals, Vinny with a goal and Dustin Brown and Brent Seabrook with a helper each. Rich Peverley was a monster in the circle, winning 14 of 19 faceoffs and adding a powerplay goal.

Jimmy Howard also looked impressive turning away 22 of 23 for a .957 SV%.

I would like a little improvement on the powerplay though, 2 for 7 isn't so hot.

Tough one goal loss to the Rangers. The upside is that we were in the game for a full 60 minutes. That kind of effort will hopefully translate into a few wins.

Nice way to start the season as Nabby picks up the shutout and Both Sid and Ovie have big games!

Washington starts the year 2-0 with back to back wins over the Leafs. The last game the Caps were badly outshot, however today it was Washington's turn to outshoot the Leafs.

Chris Mason has been specatacular in his first two games with a 0.970 SV % and 1.00GAA

Jamie Langebrunner, Mike Ribiero Ryan Malone, Patrick O sullivan and Brendan Morrison lead the team with a goal and an assist each.

Good start for the Rangers, with the exception of the late Short handed goal....

Injury bug has hit the Rangers already, hopefully Pat Eaves will be back in a few days.

Not a good 1st result. 1st line played great and we outshot Carolina 40-38 but lost 5-3. Will have to turn up the defense.
