Ugh, yes, sorry, Delta made me look foolish. It was available for a very short while from Calgary, Winnipeg, and Ottawa and they just bumped it back up to normal price (all dates).

Las Vegas for Christmas ? $323 roundtrip after tax
Air Canada just dropped the price of their December 21-28 flight to Las Vegas down to $323 roundtrip after tax.
Would you go to Las Vegas for Christmas? It's not the first place that comes to mind when I think of a Christmas holiday.

Just got back from Disneyland last week. I will recomend staying at the Howard Johnson, it is a nice short walk to the entrance of the park.
I would keep watching escapes and such. I ended up paying $1850 for a family of 4 for a week including fligts and taxes at the Hojo (direct flight with Westjet)

Christmas Flight to Panama - $780 roundtrip after tax
Air Transat just dropped the price of their December 21-28 flight to Panama City, Panama down to $780 roundtrip after tax.
At non-Christmas times of the year, you can expect to pay an average of $800-$900ish or so after tax. But for Christmas, this is the first time any airline has dropped below $1200, making it quite a deal.

Cmyden,
Is there any hope for Cancun 1 Jan - 8 Jan? Looking for somewhat reasonable fights.
Thanks

Hey Cmyden,
Been looking for decent Phoenix flights for Dec18 (flexible) to Dec 30 (flexible) and am not too impressed on the results. I know it is a high flying time for Phoenix, but wondering if you have any tricks up your sleeve.
Thanks very much!

Hi Aeneas,
If you go Jan 1 to 7, Continental has one for $566 roundtrip after tax. Or $526 if you go Dec 31 to Jan 7. 1 to 8 looks to be $623. That seems to be the cheapest at the moment.

Hi Woob,
Yeah, prices start their ascent into ridiculous Christmas territory around mid December. Are you able to go Dec 15 to Dec 28? Delta has a flight for $477 roundtrip after tax.
Or December 20 to 31 on US Airways for $519, direct each way.

All inclusive: 4* Temptation Resort (San Jose del Cabo, Mexico) - $750 roundtrip after tax
Temptation Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico just dropped the price of their November 29 departure package down to $750 roundtrip after tax. That's about 32% off their average price. And yes, that's for flight, accommodations (7 nights), food, drinks, everything.
It's a 4* resort, and gets excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. It's also an 'adults only' resort for non-prudish types.
Here's a direct link to the package.

Can't say I've been, but I'm betting the fantasy is better than the reality. I think they have something called 'Desire Week' where things get a little crazier and full nudity is allowed and the rest of time it's topless optional. I think there's some adult themed activities, etc. There seems to be a consensus in the TripAdvisor reviews that most of the resort is great, but the food is not.

Some crotchety old bird I used to work with went to those hedonism things all the time. When she retired a bunch of her pics were left on the company server, and it was GROSS.....wrinkly dongs and old lady flabby knockers all over the place.
I would assume if it was all supermodels making out everywhere it would be a little more pricey.

Calgary to Bermuda - $403 roundtrip after tax
WestJet has dropped the price of their November and December (up to mid December) flights down to $403 roundtrip after tax.
I think this one is the best deal...
Look for the flights that are $139 each way before tax on WestJet.ca

Bermuda is rebounding from the recent Hurricane Igor, which thankfully did little damage, according to island officials.
In the hurricane's wake are some good deals that require a minimum three-night stay. Accommodations range from luxury resorts and boutique hotels to beach clubs and historic beachfront properties.
Rates range from about $125 US to $460 US per night.
For more details, go to www.bermudatourism.com/compliments.
Starting in November, roundtrip airfare to Bermuda from Calgary starts at around $600 (taxes included).
|
They're off on the airfare price by about $200 though.

Hi Chris,
I'm wondering if there's any sort of website that tracks prices of all inclusive resorts? Looking to see what the average prices are, highs/lows, seasonal averages etc. I'm trying to decide whether to take the group rate for a wedding to Mexico in April, or wait for awhile and see if the prices go down.
Thanks!
