4chan is essentially a picture post message board. Often VERY NSFW. However, the /b/, which is basically the random pictures second I believe, is a huge community and has taken it upon themselves to often be a vigilante group dealing out their own particular brand of justice to whoever and for whatever reasons they see fit. Sometimes this is unjust, sometimes (like this case) the person deserves it.
