Well, I think Nenshi thoroughly impressed their editorial board when he met with them last week.

The Sun tweeted this:
@ausscott He earned quite a bit of respect around here during today's editorial board. #yycvote

Haha, Barb-bot is great. I'm going to have to use that more often.

If that is true... Even though alot of people hate the Sun if he can get lots of positive media from the Sun It could force the general public to start looking at him.

I liked the part where she "rose" to become a newsroom leader. Yeah right. There's a difference between "leader" and "diva."

Metro's front page story today was the push to get a 3-way live debate going.

http://www.metronews.ca/calgary/loca...o-final-debate

Well now that the challenge has been made public, can Higgins really ignore it? (McIver's stance seems to have softened.)

Nenshi is going to wipe the floor with them. And Dr. No can't blink his way out of this one.

Make Barb have to speak for more than 10 minutes at a time and she'll run out of buzzwords to use

Is reading the news really a leadership position? I understand that she had to work hard to get where she did...but was she truly a leader? Who did she lead?

We all know he was the real leader on that newscast. Second place goes to David Spence.

I'm loving all the purple popping up on the forum.

With Darryl Janz as Ron Burgandy, and Barb as Veronica Corningstone?

Luckily for her, Connelly has found the solution: keep repeating the same buzzwords over and over.

I always chuckle at Connelly`s signs when I pass by them.

"Take Back Your City."

I always want to ask, take it back from who or from what? One could make the assumption that he means take it back from the previous city council.... of which he was a part.

I prefer the Burrows Brite-Sign by my house:

CRAIG BURROWS
FOR MAYOR
PLOW YOUR ROADS

I always read the sign as if he is yelling at me to plow my walk or something.

I've thought the exact same thing. I keep meaning to take a photo of one of his campaign signs on 9th ave by Fort Calgary. Someone has given his picture the felt marker treatment.

I left a comment on Ric's website inquiring why he won't debate Nenshi.

I've thought of drawing moustaches on the signs of my least favourite mayoral candidate. Someone already beat me to it though.

Politicians that sport a mustache shouldn't be trusted.

Period.
