The Pats are the first team in NFL history to score a TD by blocking a FG, returning a KO and returning an INT...all in the same game.

Also, first team to score TDs five different ways: pass, run, k/o return, int return, blocked fg.

Special Teams Coordinator John Bonamego has been relieved of his duties and Assistant Special Teams Coach Darren Rizzi will take over.

what a great game last night on MNF!!! very entertaining. I was a bit worried in the first half but the defense came out to play!!! great effort by them!!

Moss had no catches for the night??? I wonder what is going on with that situation??

The Pats are still a pretty damned good football team, BB has taken some risk and heat by not listening to public mood and sentiment about what and how he should change things. That will bite him in the ass at times, but he certainly has the ear of his athletes and he definitely knows how to coach them to play the game of football, that and the fact we still have one of the best offences in the game. The D will get better as the year rolls along, we may not win it all this year, but once these young "nobodies" learn the game, we will be back.
I think the Fins thought they had the game won before they got on the field...

Blocked Punt, Blocked FG, Return of a Kickoff, INT, Rushing TD and a Passing TD.
Sounds like one team was firing on all cylinders.
They are a bunch of nobodies at this point of there career, but with the right coach, who is BB. Never heard of Chung before, he made plays last night, but to be honest I think half of america could have blocked that field goal he went in untouched. Ninkovich has done nothing up until now, he was drafted in 2006, which up until last night is a nobody. Danny Woodhead was cut by the Jets.

Like I said you expect to get beat by Moss, Brady and Welker, but not the "nobodies" Yes they are in the NFL which makes them great players, but they are border line NFL players hence why they are all playing on special teams.

The key thing is that BB can make them great. Did you watch the game, since you hate the NFL so much? The dolphins had the ball longer, had 150 yards of more offence, held Moss to zero catches and Brady threw for 150 yards.

If you told me yesterday that Moss would have zero catches and Brady would throw for 150 yards and the Pats still would win. I think even Vegas would had said your crazy.

The dolphins got outcoached badley yesterday. The Pats coaching staff knows how to adjust, the Dolphins coaching staff is too busy trying to still use the wildcat when it hasn't worked yet this year.

Actually if you read into somewhere else I think the Miami Herald the Dolphins where allready planning on letting him go. Yesterday just put it over the top.

Yes if you get owned by a bunch of nobodies you should be fired. That's 4 blocked punts in the last 8 games (2 in the preseason) and two in back to back weeks. A good coach makes the right adjustments.

I would have fired him last night. I'd also let go some of my horrible special team players, there are 100s of other border line NFL players that you could give a shot too that don't have a contract right now but where let go from other teams and would possibly give you as good of a chance.

Sparano also made it clear that special team players aren't safe either and they need to be held accountable. So my guess is after reviewing some film, you can expect a few of those players to be released this week. They have 2 weeks to bring in some borderline NFL players as replacements.

The thing is that when the Patriots were winning Superbowls, they were relying on nobody type players all contributing to the team around Brady on offence. Eventually they became more household names, but back when the Patriots were winning the Superbowl which is 5 years ago now...they did so using these methods. Maybe they decided to get back to what made them an elite team as opposed to trying to lean on 3 star players all the time.

They have barely used the wildcat at all. if they were too busy using the wildcat then they would be attempting it a lot more. Face facts, Brown isn't pulling his weight right now and Ricky has outplayed him so far this season. The wildcat centers around Brown and aside from one 50+ carry he's been disappointing.

Ricky has only outplayed Brown in one game, which was yesterday. Brown has been the better back the first 3 weeks of the year. This I think is the problem with the coaching staff as well, they don't like to ride the hot back. Last night Ricky should have been in on a lot more of the plays because he was the hotter back. You'll have a hard time convincing me otherwise, because the Dolphins are like crack to me, I don't miss a play or hit!

As per the wildcat maybe I should have been more clear. Yesterday opening drive of the game the dolphins are driving the ball well with a conventional offence and all of a sudden it is 3rd and 6 and you bring out the wildcat, really on 3rd and 6. They couldn't stop Bess on 3rd downs all night. You honestly think BB won't be ready for the wildcat, since you used it to embarrass them a few years back. That killed the drive.

This was also the case against the Jets.

Marshawn Lynch heading to the Seahawks apparently. From one crowded backfield with no clear cut starter to another one.

hey, we were cheering for them when Steve Grogan and Tony Eason were the QBs. We've earned the right to be obnoxious now.

Yeah I just turned on the tv straight to ESPN and it's the main headline. The deal is being held up at this point because Moss would have to sign an extension with the Vikings. They have had talks though the past few days and something could get done soon.

Pagal must be happy if it goes through I would imagine.

Just wait, it will be a couple more weeks until the Vikes try to bring back Culpepper to reunite the ultimate duo.
