I don't think the club games are counting on our record yet are they? Might as well get in games now before the next season starts for both the goalies and other players.

they are still counting on our overall record and ranking. i doubt these last 4 days go towards next months totals though.

They still count on overall but not on month since the season is over.
OTP isn't very good practice for anything (except for being a puck hog), but practicing goal is probably the one thing it is good for... if you want to practice breakaways.
If there was one thing I did notice tonight (and not to pick on those playing, I've noticed this in general because I'm a D-man), is that the D-men get beat a lot. A beaten D-man = scoring opportunity, and against good clubs = goal. Stay between the forward and the goalie and use your stick to break up the play (stick lift or poke depending on the situation). No need to go for the hit unless you are sure it won't lead to an odd man opportunity. Staying positionally strong gives the forwards an opportunity to back check and get into good defensive position too.

I'll comment more on goalies and regular club games later, but just giving a FYI that a sever update is going on tonight. And it's meant to involve updates to the PS3 voice chat issues.

well the banner raising was a cool little feature. though i could imagine it might get old by the end of the month! at least it wasn't overly long.
the mic use seemed improved, but definitely not fixed. i would say they at least got it back to previous standards where you will usually be connected but have a 50/50 chance at the connection being choppy.

The banner raising was very cool, I don't think i would get sick of seeing that. I also like the "Elite Play Off Champions" on the ice for our home games as well.

i unfortunately am having ISP problems and won't be able to play at least till tomorrow when a technician comes. getting super bad speed and having trouble keeping any sort of connection to the outside world. as usual, phone support was worthless as their only fixes were to power cycle the modem and to bypass my router and plug my computer straight into the modem. like i hadn't thought of that!
