The number one center finally gets it done. Good job Zajac.

First time seeing the Eriksson-Koivu-Nash line back together in the pre-season and they put up 9 points. The 2nd line of Gagne-Toews-Vanek also lit things up so hopefully this SIM Chemistry can continue moving forward.

I still don't like how many shots we're giving up but we can work on that.

well that's our first real butt kicking of the preseason, before that things had been ok. basically we got outgoaltended as both teams took alot of shots. also with some injuries we have overplayed some guys and a guy like Jay Leach finally gets exposed badly going -4. Josh Bailey continues to play well, we like what he brings, basically we need to sort out which of he and Steen plays center on the 2nd line and which plays wing, neither is doing well on faceoffs though. we also had a goal disallowed

another game like our last one with alot of fights and rough stuff leading to even shorter benches. Brent Burns was a badarse for the Habs, beats up Steen (oooh tough guy) then 14 seconds out of the box and he beats up Walker

Buffalo Sabres goal is going for a video replay. After video review, No Goal.
Jean-Sebastien Giguere enters game at 1:47 of 3rd period
Brent Burns beats up Toni Lydman at 3:56 of 3rd period
Jay Leach and Duncan Keith fight to a draw at 12:07 of 3rd period
Brent Burns beats up Alexander Steen at 14:27 of 3rd period
Alexander Steen ejected from game at 14:27 of 3rd period
Brent Burns beats up Matt Walker at 19:41 of 3rd period

Sorry I didn't get my lines in, I got called to a meeting first thing this morning and just got back now.

Nice to have another win. Ryan Smyth has been a beast for us so far, our best addition this offseason no question. 11 points and 41 shots in 7 games, pretty good. Another good sign is Lehtonen is 4-0 so far.

Strange results for us... Regardless of the lineup if we start Nabby we get out shot and win...We start Price we out shoot the other team and lose...Should be interesting to see how they both fair during the regular season with the CON ratings dropping so frequently during the preseason.

I noticed the Brent Burns thing too...I like how Burns beats up Steen and then Steen proceeds to get ejected from the game...haha awesome.

yikes I didn't notice he beat up Lydman (again ooo tough guy) that period also, no wonder we got creamed, 3 separate defenceman either beat up or in the sin bin or both in the 3rd period

we'll call Shawn Thornton and Todd Fedoruk up from the AHL the next time we play...the new SIM is detailed but I don't know if I can activate a 'fight Brent Burns' button for either guy

Get the win but another injury. The teams 5th injury in just the 6th game.

Kessel/Umberger/Prospal have some mad chemistry!
