If I'm the Bears...I think I go for an onside kick here. Can't give Rogers the ball back, he'll eat up the clock and easily get them in field goal range.

You have 4 mins and the bears are the top ranked defense and the best defense in terms of turnovers. Running is out of the question right now so the pass D is what this all hinges on.
Although Aaron Rodgers in so effing good its almost unfair.
Its one of those cases (for me) that I LOVE the Bears and HATE the Packers but you can't help but respect the player and his game

Huge mistake by the Packers. Cutler can just gain about 20 yards and win the game.

I hope Martz' passing confidence doesn't get the better of him. Get the first, run the clock and kick it.

The way Cutler throws off his back feet mixed with his unpredictable Oline nakes me cringe every time I see more than a 3 step drop

Penalties destroy the Packers so far tonight. 17 calls is unreal. That was an unnecassary PI

Wow Cutler got away with a terrible throw because of that PI.
Good game.

GB will have 8 seconds barring a missed FG by one of the most accurate kickers on the NFL

Green Bay is pretty stupid for not letting Chicago just score with like 1:20 left.
Bears win 20-17.
PS.....Chicago, Pittsburgh, Kansas City are the 3 remaining as the only unbeaten teams. Congrats to all 3. Very well deserving!

Betcha a $10 prop bet on those being the only 3 undefeated teams after week 3 would pull in about $20k.

Last undefeated NFC team in the league. I wasn't convinced by the Dallas game but the Bears defense is hard to ignore. After Farve leaves, this will be a great NFC North battle for years to come

Are you talking about after the Olsen catch? Because either way it doesn't look like Forte was running very hard. Just cradling the ball and running the clock.
Despite Martz making my heart stop on occasion, he could be one of the best signings in Chicago's last 10 years and only second to the struggled resigning of pro bowler Lance Briggs

Too bad the Packers let Cutler get away with his half dozen interceptions with a lot of stupid penalties. Stupid Bears.

GB has Superbowl aspirations....and they have no chance when playing a game like that. SB teams simply dont play as undisciplined as that abomination. Tauscher and Collins simply cannot take those kind of penalties as they are among the leaders on the team....monkey see-mokey do and it showed. This is still a really young team and the senior guys have to lead by example.
The old bugaboo from last year is back...penalties, special teams and stupid mental mistakes.
McCarthy and Thompson also have to take a very long and hard look at getting a real RB in town and pronto because Brandon Jackson is not an every down NFL RB and if this team cant run the ball at even an average way, they are toast. Marshawn Lynch has to be available from the Bills as an example.
On the bright side, Aaron Rodgers was brilliant. The receivers minus James Jones boneheaded fumble were good, and the O-Line pass protected very well. Hard to find fault when you dont give up a sack against a defense featuring Peppers, briggs and Urlacher. The run blocking was a completely different story.
Lots and lots of work to do in Wisconsin.
very disappointing result in a game they were the better team most of the night. I guess losing to a division rival on the road by a last second FG ahouldnt feel that bad, but this game was the Packers to win and they found ways to lose.

Just like any other sport, the Pack were taking penalties because the bears' offense has gone very underrated thus far. Chicago doesn't have any big names on their receiving core, but they also get absolutley no credit for their speed and route running, which is what is forcing opposition's defensive penalties

My fantasy team the Jamarcus Project would like to thank the Green Bay Packers for taking two penalties that nullified Jay Cutler interceptions, as well as for botching that other sure interception late in the game.
I also agree that the Packers should have just let Forte in the end zone there with just over a minute left. I didn't see what happened, but it looked like they challenged that fumble at 2:18...if so that was just dumb because there was no way they were winning that challenge and it cost them a valuable time out.
You can gain all the yards you like but when you take that many penalties and suck that badly at the details of the game, you will beat yourself. The Packers did that tonight and the Bears took full advantage of it.
