I think you can, but it's not the best strategy in week one. I also think that you want to and avoid head to head Division games if you can. Something about those rivalry games can make them unpredictable at times, where a bad team who has no business winning, actually pulls it off.

Well, I took about 2 minutes to do my pickem for this past week and it shows. I don't think I've ever had a poorer showing.

Same here. Wasted 16 points on those bums and got punted from Survival. Been a Chargers fan for a long time and they continue to disappoint me.

Dallas loses means 5 people are out.
Baltimore loses means 1 person is out.
1 person also forgot to pick.
So 7 people already eliminated this week.

Wow I can't believe that many people opted for Dallas. I thought someone might bite on Minnesota with 10 days off against Miami at home.

and week two, even after taking my time, was just as big a disaster as week one.
But I survived with the easy Green Bay pick.

I managed to sneak Oakland in the survivor pool.
Also won for win-loss record in the pick'em, but not in points.
Do not understand why the points for each person vary depending on week/group/single person view.

Yup however everyone survived.
We as a group are doing very well to still have this many in.
I was in a survival pool once where everyone was out by the end of Week 4.
