I'm not surprised that the Cowboys are 0-2. This is a team that barely beat the lowly Kansas City Chiefs last season. Any team that couldn't blow the Chiefs out of the water last season is pathetic.
On the flip side, the Steelers are 2-0 with out Big Ben. Now that is a surprise to me, like others mentioned they beat two pretty good football teams to boot. This is also a team that faired poorly against the crappy Kansas City Chiefs last year. In fact the Chiefs actually beat them.
Now the Chiefs being 2-0 is a complete shock. You always have hope that your team is going to win on any given Sunday (if not why would we watch in the first place?). Still I wouldn't have picked them to beat the Chargers or the Browns. As elated as I am about them being in first place in the AFC West. I'm still realistic enough to know that the playoffs are 14 games away. The Chiefs might not win another game the rest of the season. Although their easy schedule does give me some hope that they will still win a few more games at the very least before the end of the season.

Alex Smith is absolutely terrible. How was this guy ever a #1 pick when he can't even complete a simple pass to the flat? Just awful.

holy, how bad are the refs in this league.
That ball is nowhere near the returner.
Now we get to waste 5 minutes for a challenge.

I wonder if Payton was really going to use all of his timeouts to make SF punt in the 1st quarter, that would have been weird!

Sad news out of Denver Kenny McKinley has passed away. Nothing right now of why he passed away.McDaniels is scheduled to meet the press at approximately noon MDT Tuesday. http://www.denverbroncos.com/news-an...7-038f9b92f746
Quote:
"Kenny had a promising future on the football field, but more importantly, he was a great teammate whose smile and personality could light up the room," Head Coach Josh McDaniels said. "This is a tragic loss for our football team, and his family is in all of our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."

Great job by Brees on that pass. Saints should win this on the FG.
EDIT: Yup Saints win.
8 teams are 2-0
16 teams are 1-1
8 teams are 0-2

Too close for comfort, Niners should have won that game.

That was like going back in time when the scrappy Saints would outplay the dynasty Niners only to have their hearts ripped out by Montana and Rice in the end.
Impressive job by the Niners lines, especially on the o-line, very little pressure by the Saints front four. Had to know Brees would get it done in the end, and a big bounce back by Hartley.
Winning>Losing.

Once he got into rhythm I thought he was pretty good. Took some hits to make some throws, a couple pretty nice runs when nothing was there.
Turnovers killed them, but I think otherwise they had a pretty good showing.

Reggie Bush left the stadium in SF on crutches. An early source told ESPN that he could be out for over 6 weeks with a break in his lower right leg but that has not been verified and he will have x-ray results on Tuesday.
