I always figured that Tyson had a glass jaw that was never tested because he was such a dominating puncher. Buster Douglas, and Evander Hollyfield exposed that.
Its a pretty tragic ending to a guy who could have been one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

I love it! The rapist thug should never have been released from prison. Time for you to go away now, Mike.

I honestly had no clue Mike Tyson had a match tonight, not a clue. Guess that speaks to his star power.
The guy is a total nut, I hope he fades from the public eye quickly.

Im a HUGE boxing fan ..and the story of Mike Tyson is one of the sadest in pro boxing history. From beginning to end, its been a crazy ride for Iron Mike.
Cus Demato had him in line..once he died, Mike fell over to Don King and it was all she wrote. The rape conviction was completely bogus. I don't know one person that actually knows the case that believes Mike Tyson raped that women.
Tyson though has done a lot of stupid things throughout his career and life.. and his career is all but over. Unfortunetly, he will probably keep fighting because he needs money.
Also, Capt. ... Tyson actually has a very solid chin. During his whole career..his style and size has forced him to take some savage blows to the head.. I remember the 1st Frank Bruno fight..Tyson got hit so hard to the head I cringed...yet Tyson just kept coming. Against Lennox Lewis, he took some big blows before finally getting dropped.
Let's not forget 3 big things about tonight...
1. 18 month lay off between fights.
2. 33 lb. weight advantage for Williams.
3. And most importantly..this is 38 year old Mike Tyson, not 22 year old Tyson.

Tyson is actually setting to join the Japanese K4 fighting circuit - he's challenged perenial champ Bob Sapp and has started to show up events around Japan. I bet that I will be reporting this match to you on New Years day here in Japan (oh, except I will be back home watching the world juniors,...)

Yeah, the guy who once claimed "My best punch was thrown at Robin Givens" and " I want to eat your children." He's a stable and classy guy. He will die violently, young and penniless.

I agree and I disagree about the Tyson Chin. The fact is that when Tyson was a dominant fighter, nobody could land any kind of consistant offense on him because that undercut of his came from no where and pretty much took your head clean off.
Now that Tyson is a step slower and not as strong, its easy to set up the big punch off of combo's which is what killed him against Buster Douglas. He has a history of going down and not being able to recover, hence the glass jaw topic
A part of me does feel badly for Tyson. He had a horrible upbringing, and the only guy that actually tried to help Tyson and keep him on the straight and narrow was Domato. Everybody was else was there to suck the money out of him, and in order to do that the encouraged him to be the bad boy of boxing. The comments about eating children, and the ear biting was secretly encouraged by scumbags like Don King.
Yes Mike Tyson's made mistakes, and pretty horrible ones, but he's also paid for it 10x over by being naive and trusting his handlers and management who don't care about him outside of the ring.
Its a tragic tail of a talented athlete who was never prepared for the kind of status that he achieved.

Tsn says he tore a knee legament in the first round making him an easier target, but tyson refused to call it off and using that as an excuse.

I watched the fight and tyson almost knocked the guy out in the first round. It looked like he had him on the ropes in the early going. You tell the point when tyson hurt his knee, he grabed for it. After that tyson wasn't the same in the fight. It really seemed like he wasn't moving as well.
The problem was that tyson just started trading puches with the guy(the guy had mor then 30 pounds on him and 4 inch's).
When tyson got knocked down, it looked like he could get up but just didn't want to.

Tyson's not hanging anything up until he makes $15 million to pay off his debts.
How the hell do you get a $15 million debt anyways??
