Burris has had a really conservative game plan so far, which I can imagine is because they want to limit momentum-swinging interceptions. But now they're going to have to start getting more aggressive.

On the other side, full credit to the Riders, I figured that the long ball was their best chance to score, and they've definitely thought the same thing.

I'm not blaming the defense really, sure they gave up a couple of big plays, but they also put 7 points on the board.

Huge pass interference call there, Calgary gets the ball on the 10.

Shut up Suitor. It was pass interference.

Not sure what Suitor is talking about.
He grabbed his jersey a bit and then elbowed his back.

He kept yapping about it after the next play. Frikking homer.

heh, that was pretty blatant, but he called it a "little tug in the jersey". Not.

Didn't quite get in there, but 1st and goal on the 0.5 yard line. Hmmm oh yea has to be a 1 yard scrimmage. Damn didn't get in again, not cool!

Big momentum boost to the riders if the stamps can't punch this in.

Saskatchewan is owning the lines of scrimmage right now - usually calgary's forte.

Nice answer for the Riders score. They need to tighten up at the end of this half on defense.

Typical Rider fan intercepting the football meant for a Stamps fan from Tate after the TD.

Nice drive - defense needs to step it up now though.

Yes, Tate. That's what I meant.

Time for the D to ramp it up.

Huge play here, let's see if the Stamps can stop the pass on 2nd down. Incomplete, nice. Stamps with time to put some more points on the board.

Suprised there was no challenge there.

Field goal Maver.

20-16 Stampeders after the first half.

Excellent drive to add a FG. Weird play call to run the zone read to Lewis on the 2nd to last play. That play wasn't going to go more than six yards or so and he barely made it out of bounds with 1 second left. Would have been better off taking a shot at the end zone IMO.

Good last minute drive. Nice for the Stamps to grab a bit of momentum back after those big rider scores.
