Scotch, currently working on a Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or. Tasty stuff.

Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.
Champagne is the best.

Just give me a beer and I will be fine, any type really though I do prefer a nice Ale if I have my druthers. As for a drink to share with a lady, definatley red wine. To be more specific, Brunello di Montalcino circa 2003/04.

I like Strongbow, but would never want to mix it with tar sands.

Call me old fashioned but I love a nice Rye and Coke. The key is to have lots of ice so it makes a nice press. My drink of choice is Wisers Deluxe but I also like Crown Royal. However when im out of the country nobody drinks rye so I have to settle for Jack Daniels
What do you guys drink when your on vacation (other than beer) when they dont have Rye?

I like dark rum and coke, but that's only because it's basically candy. Prefer dark to light... that's what she said.
Gin and tonic is what my lady drinks, and I will too if I've had enough sugar for the day. If no tonic, then gin and soda with lemon or lime.
Occasionally will attempt a jack/rye and coke, but I have to be in the right mood otherwise it'll turn into trouble.
BUT
Generally what I do is open up my liquor cabinet, and the fridge, mix up some random stuff, give'r a shake over ice and then drink. Keeps things fun.

In Ireland this is mostly consumed by women. They may be questioning your manhood. You should throw down.
