			Where did you sit?
I have a ticket for the show in Vancouver. I was thinking of ditching it just because I have to get out to Vancouver somehow, and I won't have a ton of money, or time off since it's on a Friday, but if you say it's that good, I may have to find any way I can to get out there.

My seat is to the left of the stage, a few rows back. I'm concerned about not being able to see anything. Did you take any pictures of the stage, or notice if you would be able to see from there?

 Cheers.

Sat on the floor, Row 25...was perfect.
The stage sits high off the floor so sight lines are no issue. Im sure youll find tubes on You Tube if you sift through it. The sound is crystal clear and the stage show is spectacular. Dont miss it, this is supposedly RWs last tour.

poor quality tubes but you get the idea

Not surprised its as good as you claim Cheese....when I saw PF in Edmonton all those many years ago, I was absolutely blown away. By far the best live show I had ever seen and probably the best one I will ever see.
RW is a pro's pro and knows how to do it up right.

I saw Roger Water's last time he came to Calgary, and that was also the best show I've ever seen. Pretty choked he's not coming this tour.

I saw Dark Side of the Moon as well...fantastic show. The Wall is more theatrical but just as outstanding musically. The audience seemed far more engaged as well.

Yeah, I was at dark side of the moon in 07 too. How was RW voice last night? He's got a few years under his belt.
Is anyone here going to the show in Vancouver?

Just as a note on your post. Assuming you are talking about the '94 Division Bell Tour, which led to the live double CD Pulse, then Waters wasn't part of Floyd at that time.

I also saw the recent Waters DSOTM shows and it was amazing.

Rogers voice was fine. No issues at all.
He had a lead singer doing most of the higher notes that sounded perfect for the role. No female backup singers this time...all male backups.

Dave Kilminster and Snowy White are on guitars and Venice cousins Mark Lennon, Michael Lennon and Kipp Lennon are doing the male backing vocals joined by Jon Joyce. Roger's son Harry Waters is also joining the band on Keyboards along with Jon Carin.
Graham Broad is on drums and G.E Smith, who has toured with Bob Dylan, is also on guitars. There is also of course a second lead singer taking the parts David Gilmour used to sing called Robbie Wyckoff.

Gilmour has allegedly made up with Roger and will take part in a show or shows along the way. There is no announcement which shows at this time.

Guitar Virtuoso Dave Kilminster's radical techniques and mesmerizing sounds captivate fans and fellow musicians alike. Dave was named Guitarist Magazine's 1991 Guitarist of the Year.

Snowy White..He was then asked by the Pink Floyd to go to America to rehearse their new show entitled ‘The Wall’, and, at the same time, the rock band Thin Lizzy invited him to become a full-time member. So after the completion of the Floyds’ US dates he returned to England and went straight into the studio to record his first Thin Lizzy album 'Chinatown'. This album includes some songs co-written by Snowy, notably the title track. Two and a half years of world tours and recording with the band followed, including the making of Snowy’s second album with them, entitled ‘Renegade’.

Graham Broad (born 10 March 1957, Hammersmith, West London, England) is an English drummer who has been playing professionally since the age of fifteen, after attending the Royal College of Music in 1970.
His works have spanned decades with musicians such as Roger Waters, Tina Turner, The Beach Boys, Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams, Bill Wyman, and George Michael.

"G. E." Smith (b. January 27, 1952) is an American guitarist. He was the lead guitarist in the band Hall & Oates and the musical director of Saturday Night Live. Smith was lead guitarist of Bob Dylan's touring band from June 7, 1988 to October 19, 1990. Smith also served as musical director of The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration for Bob Dylan at Madison Square Garden on October 16, 1992.

The review from the Toronto Sun...
Before the concert began, a homeless man wandered through the floor with a grocery cart carrying a placard that said, "No Thought Control," a line from Another Brick In The Wall as in "we don't need no thought control," as a police officer seemed to be ordering him off the premises.
Naturally, it was all part of the production.
It was quite hilarious at first...most wondered WTF?

Wifey and I have tix to Vancouver, we are sooooo stoked, since the Dark Side tour in 07 was the absolute-best show that I have ever seen.
The Wall is near and dear to my heart, so I am truly looking forward to it.

I heard that there may be additional legs of The Wall tour, so there is a chance Alberta could get to see the show too, I hope so.

			Got my tickets to Vancouver!
Quick question, did he play a bunch of their greatest hits like when he did Dark Side of the Moon, or does he go straight into The Wall? Any encores?

all "The Wall". No encores or other music.

There is also an intermission half way through it after they build the wall.

The graphics on the wall are also spectacular. At times you believe it is really made of brick...sock puppets are great as well, Flying Pig...the works.

Saw Dark Side here at the Saddledome and we have tickets to The Wall in Tampa in November. Low in 118, so cushy seats and close. CAN'T FREAKIN' WAIT.

What the hell, since this seems like the place to do so, Ive got a Dark Side tour shirt - bought and tried on once, but it was too small.
Sized at XL, fits more like a snug L.

$35 at the show, yours for $20. PM me.

If they do I'll see it twice, but I can't see it unless he does a second round back to North America next year after the European tour.
If you review the concert schedule there is just no room to squeeze in a Calgary stop at any point where the concert is close enough to get everything over and setup in one day.
