I think Jobo's idea of practice is a good one. I know everyone, including myself, would prefer playing the games but I think a 30 minutes session of practice every once in a while with the regulars wouldn't hurt. All we have to do to expediate the process is to detail our game plans online first for everyone to read. Go ahead coach Jobbles and Mercky Merc

I don't have the game yet but in the demo yesterday the computer had a goal disallowed because of a high stick. The shot came from the point and a forward, with his back to the blueline and skating towards the net in the offensive zone, tipped it in but it was ruled a high stick. Goal negated.

Who was the winger that passed the puck to me (#10) to score a goal that used the same play twice?
That was freaking awesome. HAHA

Oh well then...nevermind!
Maybe I should specify...the goals that are reviewed by "kicking" or "punching" in are always good goal!

I think the practice would be beneficial for the new guys who play with the old guys.
Case in point when a few of the old guys get together we steam roll teams over but throw just one new guy in the mix and things go away from the game plan.
Now its not that the new guys are crappy, most are pretty decent its just that they are not familiar with our tendencies yet, and are still a bit used to the CPU single player mode. We have to remember that some of the new guys haven't played EASHL before and do not know a few of these things so if we inform them about them it will only make them better at the team game.
The main things I see when we start losing is that we are grouping up and cuddling in the offensive zone/break out (last night we had 3 right wingers on every breakout), calling for the pass from the goalie, forwards getting too low in the defensive zone giving us 4 people out front of the net and one forward at their blue line. Additionally walking in over the blueline and taking a slap shot never works, ever. LOL

That's not true.... I was playing with Merc and Diemenz, I was skating towards the net and the D shot it it went of my skate went high in the air and in... it was the tying goal, the goal got disallowed because apparently I kicked it in, and the puck hit my skate about 2 feet inside the blue line.... was no where near the net.

Hey Diemenz, looks like c-ero broke your record for most hits in a game...

Haha yeah I saw that, I have toned it down as i also hold the most penalty minutes records as well which was directly related to those hits LOL.

My comments on the new tuner is mixed.
I don't like that curve shots are back one bit. Also i think the first tuner had better speed, the last few have been to fast imo.
But I do like that douchbag danglers now lose the puck much easier.

Not a fan of "force-field" poke check. Thought it was fine before. I haven't played club since the tuner came out, but I lost 2 HUT games I shouldn't have because opponents were R1 mashing in the slot. Doesn't take much skill to do that.
Of course you can say I need to adjust, which is also true.
