Pulling off Almeida? I thought he had a pretty good match. Might be a guy you'd want on if you're going to push for a winner.

I take back Crouch>Torres

Crouch=Torres after missing what should have been the winner

good result, I hoped for a draw before the game and with no Dawson, Defoe, Gomes or Modric I think its a great result

The draw is a fair result. It was pretty even until Bremen was really pushing at the end.

I will say that Marko Marin is quite the talent. He was fun to watch.

In other news, just reading the match report from the Barca/Panathinaikos match:

Possession: 86% - 14% for Barca.
Shots on Target: 28-1 for Barca.
Saves: 0-7 For Panathinaikos.

Basically, Panathinaikos got one shot all game. It went in. Barca did the rest. I dont think I've ever seen such a one sided game in my life. I almost want to watch the replay now and see if it was really that bad.

Some real good matches today;

Bayern vs. Roma
Real Madrid vs. Ajax
AC Milan vs. Auxerre
Arsenal vs. Somebody

I'll likely be following the Bayern Game or the Ajax game.

And the Chelsea/Arsenal games are a foregone conclusion.

Yup, as soon as van Gaal put on Klose and Gomez you knew he was going for it and Roma were in serious trouble.

Thoroughly dominant performance by Bayern, Roma tried defending the whole game, but too much German quality with goals by Muller and Klose.

74% Possession and 24-6 in shots. The Romans were flattered by the score.

This is not the Roma from last year. Slow start.

Two years ago we lost to Cluj in the opening game, and topped our group still (that had Chelsea in it).

Don't count out the Roman's yet.
