Most people aren't afraid of heights, just falling and dying from heights.

Acrophobia if I'm not mistaken.

Are they roped/harnessed in? If so, its not a big deal.

I think everyone is afraid of heights to a certain degree. Maybe not deathly afraid, but if you dont have a healthy respect for gravity you must have some screws loose.

I'd just hope I was the first one up so I don't have to be hit with the splatter when someone upchucks from vertigo at that height.

First of all, hes free climbing. No safety rope. Thats insane.

Second of all, the sway of that thing would probably have your balls in your throat every 2 minutes.

Dont. Look. Down.

Yeah, didn't look like he had a safety rope or harness, I actually had an impulse to grab my desk while watching lol, and I've flown gliders and stuff so I'm not that bad with heights. Hate ladders tho.

Freeclimbing like that is amazing.

As one Youtube commenter put it: "How can they climb like that when they are carrying the biggest pair of balls in the world"?

That was pretty nuts. I didn't like that video at all. How much would a guy who does that insane job get paid?? Just thinking about it after watching it gives me the shivers. I don't like heights at all.

I've been more then nervous on a 20 foot ladder before let alone a giant antenna free hand 1768 feet up then having to stand on top of the stupid thing. This man better be getting paid well.

I was called by a company asking if I was interested in doing something like this (installing solar something windows for high rise buildings) and they were offering something like $120k for working 3 days a week. They asked because I do a lot of alpine climbing and mountaineering and some big wall climbing, so I was pretty comfortable with exposure and handling ropes and building anchors. I would have taken it, but I couldn't get a work visa for it.
