I'll be in for tonight, but not tomorrow night due to my annual go-to-edmonton-to-laugh-at-the-eskimos-athon.

Looks good to me. That's a pretty solid lineup...erwin plus a guy like kyle L or brent if he's similar should be pretty solid.

Deflating loss to say the least, though 5-4 isn't too shabby of a score. Somehow jayems and I have quickly reduced our chances of winning the lady byng ahahahahahah. Though if teams are gonna be like that in this division, its gonna be a tough year.

Hey, I brought emotion back to the team and we scored twice on my 4-min PK, even if it was a sad attempt at ... well, I'm not quite sure what I was attempting to do.
That's right. Two shorties all thanks to me. (and maybe a little bit to Darren)

Game day again, bitches.
I'll be there a little earlier and a little more peppier than last night. Except staying up until 3am playing nhl11 last night was a bad idea. And a pre-game meal of a pepperoni stick and bag of maltesers isn't on the menu tonight.
In other news, I see we have a game scheduled for Oct. 7 which is the first game of the season for the flames. That is terrible news.

Well that's complete horsespit. If I got 15 for that, that's a complete fu#*ing joke. Hopefully you guys could pull out the win and atleast I scored a goal early on. Bobby is there an appeal process or anything?

You'll likely be done for 2 games. I don't think I've ever been on the ice for such a long time as that. I don't think I even came off the ice more than twice after the first period. Feeling it today. Quite impressive it was only a one goal game. If we had a full bench, we would murder those guys.

someone on here made a NHL09 custom jersey or something for the PC. It was black, had alberta province outline on the shoulder and the calgary tower as the logo. it was so rad. I'll try and find it.
Similar to what you poster, jar

Yeah I'm starting to remember that too...that was in our original jersey thread wasn't it? Or was it in the prototype thread before the edge jerseys came out?
But I'd totally love a third, black jersey

There's an appeal process, but it's a bit of a joke from what I've heard. First of all, you have to pay money to file an appeal, and secondly, the appeal basically consists of...
-write a letter explaining the situation
-league reads letter
-leauge asks ref if he meant to call what he called
-ref of course says that he made teh right call
-appeal over

We can still do it, but you only get your money back if you win the appeal, and judging by how many players have won appeals (heard from someone that it's around the 0-1 mark ), you basically be throwing money away. But we'll wait and see what the suspension is, and go from there.
