I'm not particularly fond of them, myself...

Now, these are nice.

Sadly, they suffer the same problem as the Saints, the golds can't be matched...

I really think the Bobcats have a chance against Washington State this weekend.

Those are nice and I think you're right. WAZZU is brutal. I wish Montana would get back to playing a BCS school to start the season. It seems like that all went out the window with Hauck. Maybe Pflugard will start it again.

Default Villanova Considering to Join Big East Football

Quote:
PHILADELPHIA -- Villanova is studying a proposal to join the Big East Conference in football, the school's athletic director told the Philadelphia Daily News.
Quote:
"The Big East very recently communicated its interest in adding Villanova as a football member," Wildcats AD Vince Nicastro told the Daily News on Thursday. "As a result, we have decided to embark on an in-depth evaluation of this opportunity."
Quote:
One issue for Villanova is its home field, which seats 12,000 -- 3,000 fewer than the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision minimum.
Quote:
The school also would need to fund 22 more scholarships for football, as well as a similar number for women's athletics in order to meet Title IX requirements. Upgrades to on-campus training facilities also would be needed.

After losing 6-3 to North Dakota State last week, Turner Gill has his Jayhawks down 3 at the half vs. Georgia Tech.

This is like the Zook years. Good very good talent and just cant coach them.

This is falling on the shoulders of our O-Line and Offensive coord Steve Adazzio.

Our line has sucked and play calling is brutal.

Daymond Patterson with a 32 yard catch for a major. Kansas up 11 with 14:40 to go.

Tale of two teams. Uf looks like garbage in the first half and basically owned the 2nd.

Not good news for Boise St. as Va Tech is currently down 21-16 in the 4th quarter to 1-AA James Madison (albeit a pretty consistent 1-AA power).

Maybe some of the guys who follow 1-AA closely can shed some light on how good James Madison is expected to be this season.

I guess we'll get a better idea when they play a pretty solid Oregon St. team next week. You got to think that Boise St. has to go into that game thinking blowout because there will be a ton of talk about how their win over Va Tech meant nothing this week.

I can't decide what's funnier. VaTech losing to a FCS school, or Boise beating VaTech only to have the quality of that win negated.
