Yes, the story was related to me by the lawyer precisely to illustrate that double-standard. I believe it was in the context of "guilty until proven innocent" when it comes to these scenarios. Not to say there aren't some dirt bag teachers who take advantage of their position, but if the girl makes the initial move, you are in a world of trouble whatever you do...
