I don't know about Boise St. playing for the national title, there's a lot of football left. But I'd love for them to win it all, it would certainly help kill the BCS IMO.

Yup, it would definitely deserve to die if a school rolling a bunch of minor programs got to play for the top prize.

And the SEC plays 8/12 games at home which is bullcrap.

Look, I don't like it either that Boise doesn't have to play in a tough conference, but no one wants to schedule them. So maybe this will send a message to some of those schools who schedule cupcake non-conference games.

Love it. The BCS is a joke and college football has become a good ol' boys type of system where only a select few are allowed to compete.

I hope Boise State plays an undefeated BCS conference team for the championship and rolls them.

Well one BSU wouldn't roll Alabama or Ohio State... Two this is a complete farce that the media has already put one half of the BCSCG together because that liberal mindset that little boys dont get to play. Well sorry son they haven't earned it.

Dude, it's not that no one will schedule them it's BSU wants money to travel to say Florida to play the gators like they are a cupcake team and then want that same Florida team to come the next year to Boise and play them... It's a farce.

Also I would be willing to bet that no way in hell BSU would make it through UF's sched or Alabamas this year.

They can play one or two big games a year. Just like last year it happens to be at the beginning of the year were they have a month to be ready and a bowl were they have a month to be ready. No way in hell they would be able to do it week in and week out like the big boys.

Res, I dislike OSU with a passion too but BSU wouldn't make it in the big 11 or SEC or big 12. Media got what they wanted.

If they dropped the redonkulas demands on a series with a big school say UF or OU (well they already loss to BSU sorry nick) or Bama, they got to drop that come to Boise and pay us a million to play crap. Then they would get respect.

I have driven that stretch of highway. Very, very rocky terrain and a steady and steep grade. They were going uphill, but you can't run off the road there without hitting something nasty.

BTW, What in the hell was Frank Beamer thinking? I don't care if it's 3rd and 85 you run the ball with 2min left and the other team has no time outs. He gave BSU a free 40 seconds.

Agreed completely.

All we can hope for now is:

1) Oregon States beats them at home
2) Virginia Tech & Oregon State (if defeated by boise) have terrible years essentially negating the value of the wins.

I still think a one loss SEC team/BIG 10 team/Texas/Oklahoma gets in over them.

Doubt it. Salsa Boi and Mussberger were all over BSU in this game it was sick. ESPN wants BSU in the title game they will be in the title game.

I guess our only hope then is an undefeated Ohio State vs an undefeated Alabama title game, which would actually be a very entertaining game.

EDIT: Taking a look at the simulated BCS standings an undefeated Texas and Florida would most likely get in ahead of them too.

Well cancel OU off that list... They looked horrible I am afraid... If Bradford would have stayed healthy last year we had a chance at a title... The stache just aint a gamer ... Sad but true .... 3 losses for OU , starting with FSU this week ... why cant we just schedule cupcakes all non conference like Florida.. HAHAHAH sorry PIM had to get a shot in lol

And they beat us .. and it took 2 perfectly executed trick plays in a row for them to do it ... 99 times out of 100 they dont win that game.. But mad respect for them for doing it!

Once the computer is done at the end of the year there's no way this miracle comeback game and beating a bunch of bad schools will get BSU in. I agree that some one loss teams might be ranked ahead especially if that one loss is a close one to an undefeated team.

I think it's safe to say that this Boise State team is better then the team that beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Kellen Moore is a stud!
