The rest of the Ravens cut are Troy Smith, Chris Hawkins,Brad Jones,Justin Harper, Curtis Steele, K.J. Gerard,Demetrius Williams, Joe Reitz, and Bryan Mattison.
The team moved offensive tackles Stefan Rodgers (right ankle) and rookie Ramon Harewood (knees), defensive tackle Kelly Talavou (left leg) and guard/center David Hale (bruised tailbone) to injured reserve.
Antwan Barnes has been traded to the Eagles for a draft pick.

I don't know if you were toungue and cheek with this, but I have a feeling you're not. I agree, they should pick him up immediately and cut Quinn. Screw experience, if Orton goes down the team isn't going to win games anyway.

Shows you how good and deep the NFL is compared to the CFL. He's the CFL's best defender and then is 4th or 5th in his position on a team in the NFL.

The Dolphins have claimed DE Clifton Geathers, OT Jeremy Parnell, OT Joe Reitz and DE Robert Rose. To make room for the claimed players they have placed CB Will Allen on IR and released DE Marques Douglas, DE Charles Grant and G Cory Procter.

Titans have cut Keglar and Blount.
They have claimed LB Tim Shaw from the Bears and LB Patrick Bailey from the Steelers.
Titans definitely needed some bodies in the LB spot but it looks like they are going to go with only 2 backs this season.

WR David Clowney was cut by the Jets I hope he ends up somewhere. Guy is one of the nicest guys in the league and does a ton for charity despite not make nearly as much as some of the other players.

Wow Jets release Tony Richardson. He'll surely get picked up. I guess they feel John Connor can handle it. Guy was a beast in preseason, but I didn't think they would cut Richardson.

Sheesh was down in Seattle Friday and watched the preseason game on TV.
Didn't check in until now and since then have cut 7 (including Julius Jones, JP Losman and TJ Houshmenzdeh, who will make $7m from Seattle this year) and Alex Gibbs suddenly re-retired. Then, added 6 more players today from other teams cuts, and traded a draft pick to the Eagles for OT Stacey Andrews.
Means 28 of the 53 man roster from last year are gone under the Carroll regieme.
Edit: Wonder if SEA is back in the Vincent Jackson sweepstakes?

Yup, that seems to be right.
ESPN just put up a story where Jets GM said it is a 4 year deal and sources told ESPN it was 46 million with 32 million guaranteed.

Ravens sign Houshmandzadeh. He joins Anquan Boldin, Derrick Mason and Donte Stallworth in what looks to be a very deep group of receivers. That could be a team to watch providing there are enough balls to go around as Boldin and TJ are both kind of babies when they aren't getting the ball.
