Bitter sweet time of the year for me. With the season premieres of my favourite shows(I only like a few shows) comes the season premieres of my wifes favourite shows She likes far too many craptastic shows.
The problem is that they hire local crews to shoot a lot of the show, and some of the places they travel to don't have the resources to shoot in HD, so rather than constantly switching between HD and SD footage, or trying to upsample the SD footage to HD (which would look horrible), they stick to shooting the whole thing in SD.

Maybe someone will know here...I cancelled my Movie Central subscription earlier this year once some of my shows on there ended, but I want to get it again for some of these new series. If I order it, say in the middle of this month, does Shaw charge me for an entire month, or is the cost pro-rated?
